Hello, since unraid 7.1.2 - 7.1.4 i lost my huawei 4G dongle and only recognises it as mass storage device and not a network device, is there anything i can do? its like a driver issue..

yes this way you can make an exact mirror! it doesnt create the "extra dir" hence it puts all directories at the parent zfs pool. the think i cant get it to work is how to make it with one script, and not making different scripts for every folder! i tried to put auto select datasets, it makes the autosnapshot just fine but it gives me an error when trying to replicate...

hello, i converted my array to zfs and im trying to utilize my 64gb ram to get speedy writes through my 10g ethernet as i was doing before with the "classic unraid array" and "vm-dirty-ratio" settings and i was getting over 1gbps speeds no problem. now with zfs starts from 1gpbs and after 4-5 gb drops to 60mbps! (I/O speed of mechanical drive!) then i edited zfs.conf to allocate extra arc with option: "options zfs zfs_arc_max=30000000000" (30gb) and seems that new arc is loaded correctly but does the same after 4-5gb written.. a mod of the forum (JorgeB) told me that: "Independent of the ARC size, zfs only caches writes for 5 seconds, then they are flushed to disk, and if the devices can't keep up, write speed will slow down, BUT that 5sec value can be changed manually with "options zfs zfs_txg-timeout=$value" from 5 sec (zfs default) so i changed this to 30 sec but im getting the same results..there must be a solution for this..any help would be appreciated.

Ed Nice work on the script as always! if i change the "update paths" at the end of the script like the photos im posting, to not make a folder like: pool/zfsfolder/pool_zfs_folder and make it like this: pool/zfsfolder to make an exact mirror on the other side? is that a problem? im doing it correctly on the script?

so hangs are getting more and more close and i cant even use my server...today when i got up in the morning server was dead no webgui so i connected monitor and keyboard tried shutdown but it never did it, so i forced restart and i left home for work..in less than half hour server hangs again👺 this time i was succesful logged in webgui but everything was sluggish and cpu was constant on 80%..i forced again shutdown because it wasnt letting me restart from the webgui or terminal....im posting diagnostics first hang was at 11 march at about 01:30 in the morning and second at about 10:30..please help me on this!! diagnostics-20240311-1820.zip syslog-192.168.4.200.log

im using macvlan without bridging and host access to custom networks on...it isnt right? also what the heck is this???

hello, sys specs Asrock B460M i5-10400 32GB Crucial Pro 3x 12tb disks 2x 980 pro nvme cache 3 dockers 1 vm with everything spun up i was running 55-60w, thanks to mgutt i made all necessary bios settings: no turbo, cpu page: max c states all enabled (LO , L1), pcie page: all enabled ASPM etc etc, installed powertop and spun down disks and im getting about 35w but i have some problems not going below c3. plus i have a problem with my TBS 6281SE it supports L0 but it doesnt activate at all...plus i tested without it and getting the same c3..one last thing if i run a simple win vm then no c states!!???

stability problems appeared after a planned shutdown today...server hanged and never shut down...when i connected on the webui its was at stopping array.... stopping services...when i pressed again shutdown then it was done...After the reboot parity check started 🤨🤨..then something was missing..no docker tab😶 i went into the docker settings and it was at off.. and also has reset my custom docker timeout to 10 sec..and access to custom networks setting also to default setting..tried to start again and my docker containers are working ...phewwww...posting diagnostics from tools page...flash diagnostics not created.. edit: also now discovered that resized my docker.img container to default 20g...👺 diagnostics-20240113-2139.zip

hello, i updated from 6.12.4 everything is fine...im using the new macvtap method with no bridging and everything is good..the only thing i noticed is at settings>docker >custom network type is not hidden like the release notes : With bridging disabled for the main interface (eth0), then the Docker custom network type will be set to macvlan and hidden
