  1. Should I stop/start the array to make it work? Should this thing work on 6.4 ?
  2. Yes, although some 'fancy' icon for cache drives will be welcome
  3. It (The cache settings on share) did not work for me as well. I manually set the paths to \mnt\cache for both appadata & docker
  4. I believe he meant the settings now say the data should go to cache drive, but it is not
  5. Isn't this behavior provided by the motherboard already?
  6. Hi RecycleBin plugin does not work for me (6.4.0), I think I saw it needs 'inotify-tools', but I don't see it listed in the settings of Nerd Pack (anymore?)
  7. I see logs are clean. smb-extra has (seems to) proper config [global] preferred master = yes os level = 255 ntlm auth = yes #vfs_recycle_start #Recycle bin configuration [global] syslog only = Yes log level = 0 vfs:0 #vfs_recycle_end
  8. Yes, sure. Deleted it from the explorer on Windows 10 I noticed also that I don't have these mentioned empty recycle bin icons on the 'shares' page
  9. Is there any problem with Recycle Bin on 6.4.0 -? I deleted directory, but nothing showed up in RecycleBin page
  10. Hello I have m.2 flash used as a cache drive, it is internal mounted to the motherboard via pci adapter I see it listed together with other SATA devices I think it might be better to show it separately, similar to the way unraid usb stick is pictured
  11. I waited for some more time, and the writes to disk1 stopped shortly after I wrote the message above. Maybe there was some cached data.. However, I still have few more questions - 1) Why there is an activity to an array, despite of the Cache: Only setting? 2) How can I track disk activity to an array? thanks,
  12. I moved explicitly appdata, docker to /mnt/cache/... I see most of the activity now on 'cache' drive, however there are still some sporadic writes on former location of appdata & docker on 'disk1' How can I track these disk I/O activity?
  13. Hi I recently installed a cache drive, and I would like 'appdata', which is used by crashplan (I don't have anything else), to be moved there. However I think that the crashplan is still utilizing its old appdata in the array, even though I set in the share 'Use cache disk: Only' What do I need to do?
  14. It was bad cable.. happens. Brand new, never used - and broken
  15. I removed the S3 Sleep plugin (don't use it anyway since I have now crashplan), and fingers crossed system is now operational for about 4 hours running parity,.
  16. I will, but I am afraid of these lockups, as that's a direct threat (what I have) to data integrity and corruption
  17. Sounds similar to lockups I experience with 6.4.0
  18. Hi Sorry for the 'extra large' size, used my phone previously I want UPS to report about its runtime, battery level, so that, say, if it is running more than 20 minutes on the batteries, it will initiate a graceful shutdown of the array Better if it can run more than 20 minutes Sometimes during the day we have constriction works in the area and there are days with extreme electricity interruptions Regarding my current 'Back-UPS Pro' - I will check if the cable is to blame.. Given that it is get resolved How different is Back-UPS Pro from Smart-UPS in this regard?
  19. How can I be sure that the following model will work with unRaid? APC Smart-UPS 1500VA SMT1500I
  20. I connected the cable to my windows laptop, and APC's original PowerChute does not see the UPS either Bad cable?
  21. Hi I found an original cable and connected "APC Back-UPS Pro 1200" to a free USB port. lsusb does not show anything What is wrong here? - cable? - UPS? - something I didn't connect properly? I tried few other ports..
  22. I get just warning communication lost.. How do I check it is detected by unraid?
  23. Hello I have BR1200GI. Which cable should I use to connect it to unRaid? Then in unRaid, do I need to install anything else, or it is just supported by APC built-in module? thanks
