  1. This is my tailscale admin console with three unRAID servers and their versions: which are all connected to tailscale despite what the console says. All are on the latest version of the plugin 2023.06.20
  2. Hi there Thanks, this fixed the issue. The only problem I found is that I then had to re-authenticate. So presumably would have been kicked off the tailscale network. No good for the machine 250miles away. Additionally, although I am connected to the unraid-gfp server as can be seen here: The connected status is not shown in the tailscale admin panel: Thanks for helping me fix this issue of non-connection. Much appreciated. Incidentally, my unraid server has been upgraded to 6.12.0 and has the tailscale plugin running, I very rarely connect remotely to my own system, although I have tried and it worked straight away without any of these problems. I noticed this morning that whilst my server is connected to tailscale the admin panel also shows not connected: Is something still not quite right with unRAID 6.12.0 and tailscale? Thanks for the fantastic work you are doing this plugin really does make my life easier!
  3. Hi there I have just installed the latest version but I am still unable to access a remote unRAID box via tailscale. It is my father's unRAID and I can use use screen share on mac via request to tinker. Process followed was: Remove the machine from Tailscale console. Remove plugin. Re-install plugin. Tailscale up. Tailscale login. Try to access via tailscale IP to access GUI via Chrome still does not work. I am able to ping the tailscale IP from my unRAID system. The remote unraid (gfp) shows as connected in unRAID: The unraid (gfp) shows connected in the tailscale admin console: The settings of the plugin are: and: the latest diagnostics are attached. The tailscale plugin was fine up until 6.11.5 and only seems to have broken when upgrading to 6.12.0. Under Settings > Network Settings the listening interface does list tailscale1. This is tailscale plugin version 2023.06.18. I have another unRAID box that is remote that I am only able to access via the tailscale plugin and would like to update but I am concerned if I do I will lose access (it would be a 500mile round trip to fix). Any help or advice would be most appreciated. unraid-diagnostics-20230619-1328.zip
  4. Just to let you know I removed the plugin, rebooted and re-installed the plugin to no avail. See the attached diagnostics. unraid-diagnostics-20230618-1945.zip
  5. I am having issues after updating to 6.12.0. I have three unRAID servers which I maintain via TailScale plugin. I updated to the latest version of the TailScale plugin before updating to 6.12.0 Now I am unable to connect to the unRAID system I updated (not an issue as I can remote onto my father's iMac with screen sharing although not ideal). I was able to check the Tails:cale status and look at the settings as shown below: I am able able to see that the unRAID is connected to tailscale in my admin console: Yet I am unable to enter the IP into Chrome to connect, receiving this message: Never had an issue before. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  7. Hi Jorge Erm, has something changed here on this screen. Have I missed something here? I do understand disk shares (individual array drives or pools shared to network) rather than a user share which is a folder shared. Have I just "had a moment (brain f*rt)" and wasted your time here? I do hope not. I do not recall this screen (below) looking as sparse. Maybe I am used to viewing on my laptop rather than monitor 🤷‍♂️ I'm going to leave you in peace (and probably embarrassment) here.... Thanks for your help and apologies for wasting time...I think I have baffled myself.
  8. JFYI I am able to connect to SMB shares from MacOS using connect to server and looking within the share itself the settings are correct. I am still completely baffled why 3x unRAID servers in three different locations all show the same error on the main shares page. Any further suggestions?
  9. Hi Jorge The plugins which have updated recently are mover and recycle bin. This is really strange it has just started happening on all three servers in different locations.
  10. Hi Jorge Thank you. Something really strange is happening. I have built and maintain three unRAID servers. All configured the same: same plugins, same dockers. Mine is running 6.12-rc6 the other two are running 6.11.5. ALL are exhibiting the same issue of "There are no exportable disk shares" JFYI: I manage them all using the Tailscale plugin from the app store which has just been marked incompatible with 6.12. I will add the diagnostics for my server here. Should you need the other two let me know. Thanks in advance. AMP unraid-diagnostics-20230523-1815.zip
  11. I have this issue: I searched the forums and found the advice to reboot should fix this issue. I found this advice. Except I have rebooted three times now to no avail. Any suggestions?
  12. Having just upgraded from 6.11.5 to 6.12.0-rc4.1 I have noticed that I am unable to view the notification history once all the notifications have been acknowledged. Unless I am missing something? Hovering over Alerts, Warnings or Notices does not bring up the submenu of View, History or Acknowledge. I have tried this in Chrome and Safari.
  13. Hi Jorge Thank you so much for replying so promptly: I will enable ipvlan and also sort out the memory issue. When I configured the new MoBo I enabled XMP for the memory. Little did I know that this was overclocking the RAM..I learned this from Linus Tech Tips..a little knowledge can be dangerous 😜 Thank you for your support!
  14. Hi Guys, I have run three unRAID servers for almost 3 years with relatively few issues: the ones that I have had have been solved from within this fabulous community and also watching SpaceInvader One and Ibracorp videos. Very solid work!! Anyway, I upgraded my father's unRAID system (he is 80 and loves it!!) with a new MoBo and CPU last weekend. It has been stable for a week or so and then in the last two days I have seen various docker crashes. This message shown is very similar to the other two crashes I experienced the day before. I am undecided which way to jump: i. I have a custom dockernet using macvlan...should I change this to ipvlan as this is mentioned in Fix Common problems ii. Is it a memory error as I have seen BTRFS errors in the logs and I have seen a similar post where I have seen (the sublime) Squid mention that BTRFS failures could be a result of failing memory. iii. Is this a corrupt docker.img?? possibly because of the BTRFS errors above?? Or, am I just lucky and it is all of the above? Would anyone be so kind as to point me in the right direction? I have attached the diagnostics file and also set up remote syslog to capture any further events. Thanks in advance!! unraid-diagnostics-20230422-0916 anonymised.zip
  15. I do use the appdata backup but because I use VMs too (which I know I can also backup) I decided upon raid. I went for performance as I have 64Gb and Ryzen 9 3900X 12 Core at 3800Mhz. I've always used Macs but sometimes need Windows. I use home automation too. NodeRed. HomeBridge etc etc. I use the unRAID for TimeMachine for all the Macs too. Quite straight forward.
  16. Sorry: some emails arrived slowly then. I'm running 6.10-rc2 so that I can use the TPM in Windows 11 VM. I was aware that I can have multiple multidisk pools but do not have the need for them. I have 8x3tb drives. One is a parity. I plan on upgrading the parity to a larger drive so I can start increasing the size of some of the others too. The reason I ended up with 2x500Gb is there was an extra one in the box when it arrived . I did not want to 'waste' it. I first set mine up with single NVMe cache drive but then realised VMs and AppData stored on there which is basically all the configs for the Dockers and the Plex Library so thought it would be nice to have a RAID redundancy so that if one failed it should not cause too much hassle. The parity obviously does not backup the cache.
  17. Yes. Exactly. It is Single Pool. If you have any further questions come back to me. I check my mail fairly often. I'm new to unRAID as of March this year but built three of them for myself, my father and a friend. Configured all and use WireGuard to maintain other two. Moved from a Synology. Never looked back. Run 2x Windows VMs and multiple dockers with all the *arrs. Andrew
  18. Hi there, I have the 2x NVMe drive now installed as a Cache in a RAID btrfs configuration. Regarding the atomic moves I have a media share with three subdirectories (downloads/movies/tvshows). Downloads has two subdirectories (complete/incomplete). Movies contains directories of individual movies. TVShows contains directories of individual series. I had not got my head around this at first with the atomic moves but it all works setup as it is now. I hope this information helps.
  19. Hi Guys I did not receive an answer at the time and went back and re-read Trash's post. I was new to unRAID at the time and was just learning the system. I have managed to sort the problem: 'prefer' was the incorrect setting. I have now changed to 'yes'. Atomic moves etc are all working as expected. I have built a system with 8x 3TB HDD and 2x 1Gb NVME Cache drives. I have sabnzbd sonar radar overseer prowlarr etc all running as they should do. This is a great community and SpaceInvaderOne's videos are very helpful. Thanks for checking in...much appreciated. I have since built two other unRAID servers for family and friends and I am able to resolve issues with the WIreGuard VPN. Kind Regards Andrew
  20. Hi All This is my first post to the community...so please .be gentle! Also, apologies if this is in the incorrect section. I did not feel this needed to be posted in the binhex-sonarr/radarr docker topics as it is not specific to those docker threads. I have just built my first unRAID server (three actually one for myself, my father and a friend). What a learning curve I have had as I have always used Apple computers. I had to learn how to build PCs first. Nonetheless it has been a fun (and trying) few weeks. I must say that I came across SpaceInvaderOne's name on reddit decided to look him up and it went from there. I have been a long time user of sabnzbd sonarr and more recently radarr: following various guides I have discovered Trashes Guides and setup my sonarr / radarr accordingly. Here is my quandary. My array is 8x3tb I also have two cache drives 1x1tb NVMe and 1x500Gb NVMe. The larger NVMe drive is the 'normal' cache drive used for appdata VMs and system shares. The second, smaller, NVMe drive I decided I would use for download data for sabnzbd. But following Trashes guides to get 'Atomic Moves' I have to use one share holding the downloads and media folders. If I select my 1tb cache drive and set the share to use the cache for data (as Trash suggests) to Prefer then I find that it fills up rapidly as movies and TV Shows are added to this. I am unable to set just the download directory to use this share unless I make downloads a share of it's own which then breaks the Atomic links. How would I setup Atomic Moves whilst using a separate Cache drive for downloads? Maybe I am missing something obvious but if media is stored on the array and has to be copied there from the cache then does this not defeat the logic of using atomic moves? I only use Usenet not torrents so I do not need to 'seed' anything back to the community and I am wondering if I need to worry about atomic moves and maybe I should have separate shares for downloads movies and tvshows and just set the downloads share to use the smaller NVMe cache (set to YES). I hope someone is able to help me see the light! So far I am seeing that unRAID is an awesome product and much more flexible than QNAP/Synology which I have owned in the past. Thanks to the community for being a great source of help and advice too!
