  1. Hi, I've just realized I was experimenting the same issue (Unraid version : 6.11.5) when upgrading to a new cache pool (1xHDD --> mirrored 2xSSD). The links were the certificate files in swag. It seems the fix should be easy : remove avoiding "broken" symbolic links. It should be up to the user whether or not to keep broken links. Thanks, Kam
  2. Hi, I'm quite a new user to UNRAID (1 year), but I think array disk can only be HDDs as SSD's sectors cannot be accessed directly. In my understanding you should use 2 HDDs (1 parity and 1 data) at least to build your array. What I do is I have nextcloud docker running on the SSD cache (2x480GB mirrored with btrfs) and backups going to the array (12TB array + 4TB parity). I would say you should buy HDDs to build your array. That would be much cheaper than using such big SSDs and more effective. Good luck with your set up Kam
  3. So, as expected it was a problem from their servers. It is now backing up. I've started with only a few shares (not the biggest one like series and movies), and it tells me it's going to take 5 days for +- 250GB o_O and I didn't set any maximum rate... I hope restoring a backup would be faster than the backup upload. I'm wondering if I should keep going on with crashplan (I'm still in the trial free month). It doesn't sound very reliable. Are you guys happy with it ? Does it worth the monthly $10 ?
  4. Ok probably something wrong with my account ... It is still stuck at the same stage after 8 hours. I just selected 1 folder with 1 text file, which makes a total of 156B (yes < 1KB) !! o_O So I created a ticket to crashplan. So far, nothing bad with the container Thanks anyway ! PS: I'll put the answer here when it's resolved, in case someone has the same problem as me some day
  5. Yes it is the first time, so I expected it to take a long time. But then I saw the history and read it performed several times the scan and backup preparation but never started to backup... Yesterday, I've unchecked most the file to see if it would work better with a lighter backup. So there's only 1 folder (/config) selected (only 157 files and 7MB). But it still the same. It was scanned twice since I've done that, and no backup done. I will try to make a small backup from my computer to see if it works better or if it's a problem with my account.
  6. I've restarted the docker container after pausing the backup. It is stuck again at "Preparing to backup". Checking the logs, only service.log.0 was modified after the 60 minute pause. # tail /mnt/user/appdata/CrashPlanPRO/log/service.log.0 [10.11.22 21:03:43.152 INFO 74122243-125 backup42.service.ui.UIController] UI:: UserActionResponse: GetHistoryLogResponseMessage@497560094[ session=1081740232581454819 ]1.3KB [10.11.22 21:06:36.334 INFO DefaultGroup .code42.messaging.peer.PeerGroup] PG::DefaultGroup DONE Managing connected remote peers. numConnected=3, numFailedConnectedCheck=0, duration(ms)=2 [10.11.22 21:11:36.340 INFO DefaultGroup .code42.messaging.peer.PeerGroup] PG::DefaultGroup DONE Managing connected remote peers. numConnected=3, numFailedConnectedCheck=0, duration(ms)=1 [10.11.22 21:16:36.342 INFO DefaultGroup .code42.messaging.peer.PeerGroup] PG::DefaultGroup DONE Managing connected remote peers. numConnected=3, numFailedConnectedCheck=0, duration(ms)=1 [10.11.22 21:16:36.844 INFO -34-thread-1 systemcheck.BackupLicenseCheckV3] V3 backup isLicenseValid change detected. 7. So now, I really have a problem... The backup is still stuck to the "preparing to backup" stage, while history tells me scanning ended twice yesterday and this morning. I 10/10/22 10:21PM [PRO Online Backup Set] Scanning for files completed in 5.8 hours: 1,246,605 files (2.60TB) found I 10/11/22 01:04AM Code42 started, version 10.2.1, GUID XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX I 10/11/22 03:00AM [PRO Online Backup Set] Scanning for files to back up I 10/11/22 09:15AM [PRO Online Backup Set] Scanning for files completed in 6.2 hours: 1,246,623 files (2.60TB) found I've browsed the logs and it seems there's errors in engine_error.log, service.log.0 and ui_error.log (see below) Looks like it's something to do with some Java classes not implemented o_O I doubt it is related to the UI error, but just in case I added the log to the post. I don't know if it could have something to do with it, but I'm still using Unraid 6.9 from which I had a notification that it wouldn't be supported anymore. I wanted to back up before upgrading... But I think it shouldn't be the issue as it doesn't impact the container version, does it ? Any thought on this ? 8. Hi there, There is no issue actually. I'm just to dumb to scroll down to see all the files 😅 Thank you very much for the container
  9. Sorry for not answering earlier. I didn't changed anything. Looks like it was just the corrupted SSD causing it. Thanks
  10. So that was it ! Once I removed the bad SSD the problem was solved, and it looks like other issues too It's a bit confusing that a failing unassigned disk causes a network error, though... Anyway, thanks everybody for the help !
  11. I suspected it could be this one, but I thought maybe not as it is unassigned. I didn't have the time to check further. So thank you very much ! I'll remove it tomorrow and let you know if it works better then 🤞 Thanks again
  12. Hi everybody, I received a message from @ljm42 asking to reinstall the MyServer plugin because it was not responding. I deleted it but then I realized CA plugin cannot access the internet. I get the following message : At first I thought it would come from the DNS, but I've changed it to google, cloudflares and opendns both for Unraid and my router and it still doesn't work. I'm able to ping github and various other servers though. So it is not a DNS issue. I've whitelisted my server on my router, and no parental control is active. I tried to download the diagnostics file but the web gui freezes when I do. I managed to do it via ssh but I don't know the option to anonymize it. The thing is I don't know where to look at. I've tried searching through this forum, but the few things I saw and/or tried either don't match my issue or don't work. Do anyone have any thought on what I should be looking for ? Thanks for reading PS: I'm running Unraid Version 6.9.2 2021-04-07 Edit: So here is the diagnostics file, Thanks kus-diagnostics-20220929-1450.zip
  13. Thanks @trurl actually it took me a few hours to find the encryption file so I couldn't start the array. But then, no shares appeared... But I just realized I checked "maintenance mode" as it struggled to start the array 😅 Everything's fine now ! Thanks for help and sorry for this not-a-problem-post Anyone can close this topic please? Kam
  14. Hi everyone, I moved my server to an other apartment and (of course) I didn't have time for a backup. I've just switch my Unraid server back on and had a really bad surprise... All the disks (arrays, pools and unassigned) are well identified but there is no share at all anymore. I believe the data is still there and I have just started a parity check. I will see in 14 hours if it's OK. Do you have any idea to recover the shares that I set up ? Or should I recreate them manually ? It seems there still is a definition of the shares, as I can see in the diagnosis report, but I don't know how I could use this. I haven't tried to reboot it as I thought about it after launching the parity check but I'll do it afterwards. Any help much appreciated ! kus-diagnostics-20220622-2117.zip
