  1. Update and installed. Works :) I avoid daily container updates, since it has always to restart producing file lists and that takes some time :D
  2. Strange, since I thought the bigger the files get the more chunks the more threats. I am still at 2.8GB files - eventhough set to 100 threats it only uses 7-8. well, nothing to do than wait :)
  3. Also that is amazing - installed! Thank you very much! May I ask you, what size of files you get? I still never get over 8 threats somehow. Often the file hangs at 99% and it creates downtime. My RTT is 17ms - server should be fast enough - but still it "only" uses 16 MB/s
  4. I made a test with the restore software - it works actually pretty well. I restored for a test one dir without problem. I set it up in a way that I can restore dir wise :) It ran pretty fast. But I get your point though
  5. Thanks - updated. I had this backup completed at one point in time with the virtio VM- sadly I did not inherit it and restarted once the unplugged problem was fixxed... I will let it run - it will finish eventually :) Thanks for the updates!
  6. New Beta up and running. I like the new monitor - its amazing. Only one simple error: Backup: 19973.2 GB/257524.9 GB shows like this - which obviously cuts off the number. Beside that all running normal. ETA: 171 d - have some time for more tests :D
  7. Love to see how much happened since I left for a short holiday! Here is my feedback: First Beta built: 8 to 10 MB/s New released built from today (also Beta): 12-18 MB/s Numbers are from built in bb-Monitor. Speed increased indeed - the Threats count is usually at 6 ish, although I set it to 100. I dont know if the files are still to tiny (all around 2.2 GB according to bb-Monitor). it is definitly faster than before. For information: Running 10gbit line to the router, which is also 10gbit. Also looking forward to even more improvements!
  8. Thank you @foz up and running. First scan through - eventhough it said that all discs were disconnected and had to do a full rescan, it knew what was already uploaded (I switched to the other docker image since they had a fix earlier). I will be away in a few hours for a a couple of days - try to report back. I used the beta image.
  9. Thanks @foz for the update. We will wait then. Thanks for your work on this project!
  10. That sounds very promising. Do I understand you right, you took the JonathanTreffer container and on top did your own script?
  11. All good - the https://github.com/JonathanTreffler/backblaze-personal-wine-container/tree/main one is updated since an hour ago Edit: Spun up the updated Jonathan Treffler docker, inherited the backup and now: Last file transfer speed: 4.43 Mbit/sec. Seems that really fixxed the slow upload problem - hurray!
  12. Good morning - I will try that now then. I was going to say so far it isnt really faster on my end :) I will report back - Thank you very much! Edit: runs and works, I see in the startup log now the same messages. Lets see over time if it does something faster. I have sadly a lot of dockers run that eat bandwith - so I cant really say from dashboard what comes from the backblaze container. So far at least I dont see a difference :S
  13. Thank you - it is currently producing the file list - that might take some time though. I will report back if it runs faster now - Thank you very much for your help! Edit: So far "Last file transfered speed: 0.71 Mbits/sec". I also did the yes command to put load on it after restart - it has 93 threats now running. More I cant say yet. Lets hope it works!
  14. Ok that worked now. There was a lot of output lines. Thank you for your help @rogman Do I restart the docker now? It seems that the vnc connection is frozen (within browser). Also do I have to run it after every restart?
  15. Ok Thanks - let me try it now. I will reply in a couple of minutes
