Since the last handbrake update i use its breake the intel QSV encoding. before it works for a couple of month. i can see the hardware profiles and i can select and start a job but the encoding doesnt work the encoding stops after i started. in the log i can see: " Failure to initialise thread 'Quick Sync Video encoder (Intel Media SDK)'. plex working with hardware encoding and the device /dev/dri is already be there. ?????

Jdownloader2. Since today i have a problem with the jdownoader2 docker. before it works for weeks fine. jdownloader try to update self end then it goes in endless update downloading installing rebooting. is this a problem what i only have or another problem with the jdownloader update routine?

Ich nutze folgende docker image. bubuntux/nordvpn und ich777/jdownloader2. Die ports die du für den jd2 container nutzen möchtest musst du nur am nordvpn container freigeben. als netwerktyp am jd2 container habe ich folgendes eingestellt: Netzwerktyp: Custom : container:nordvpn Wie du das Netzwerk erstellst wird auf der bubuntux seite erklärt.

yes but for this solution you need an aktive trakt vip account. and i know from my debian linux system thats possible with another solution without vip trakt. but i cant get it to run under unraid. the name of this tool is plextraktsync.

tve tested one video (4k HDR) and the hardware decoding doesnt work, only cpu decoding is running. (70% usage)

i have changed to 0 now and it works so far. Only the disconnect from the monitor after a part of the boot sequence is still present.

yes i boot in gui mode, and first you see the boot prompt and you see some boot information. and after some the hdmi port goes out. no signal on the monitor. the gvt-g plugin its not so important for me but in the future i like to install a win10 vm that i can use for important thinks like banking.

its possible. no errors result of modprobe -c | grep 4c8b is "options i915 force_probe=4c8b" i use only the internal gpu. no others are installed. yes i have enabled in the bios that the system should use the internal.

ok. i have do. 1st i have installed the gvt-g app then i have insert the needed part (i915.force_probe=4c8b) in the file /boot/syslinux/syslinux.cfg and remove the i915.conf in /etc/modprobe.d/ and make a reboot. is this right ? After that the hw transcoding in plex worked. but the problem with the black screen on the local monitor exists. also i found out that in the app gvt.g no mode selectable is. nothing is in the setting of this app to select. only an empty row. and a new file /etc/modprobe.d/i915.cfg exists. with content " blacklist i915"..????

i try it 2 times but it doesnt solve the problem... any other information that you can give ?

thnx. now the hw transcoding runs. only the dirct connected monitor to the unraid system goes black with no signal. no command prompt vissible. but for me its not so important yet. 1st thnx again.

thnx a lot for this topic. my intern graphics intel i5 11400 runs now for plex hw transcoding. the only one what i found out is that the direct connected server monitor goes black. the command prompt is no more visible. any solution for that?

Hello all user, before i go more in the deep search on my system, because its not running for me. i have follow hardware internal graphics intel i5 11400 mainboard asrock z590itx software unraid 6.92 / intel gpu tools / Intel GPU TOP / Intel GVT g must this hardware running or isnt supported? i want to use hardwareencoding in plex server in a docker (dev/dri) but the subfolder in this directory dont exists and when i make manual the command modprobe i915 nothing come return. thnx for your help.
