  1. Doh....(sorry... 'branch' didn't seem obvious to me)
  2. Not yet. You're running Unraid 6 and when I install the plugin on Unraid 6 it gets the latest version right away. Try this command: /etc/rc.d/rc.Plexmediaserver latestversion And let me know the output. 0.9.16.6.1993-5089475 Standard I figured out what's going on....Plex Pass members get different updates than normal users.... I don't suppose you could incorporate a plex pass login feature on your app to allow plex pass members to get their updates...even perhaps having an option to use beta updates.

  4. Hi Phaze...any ideas on my issue?
  5. I tried to install your plugin again but it didn't change anything.
  6. I am definitely using yours. I go to settings > Phaze plugins > PMS > Does its normal update check, but still shows older version of PMS. Should I just force update it in the install plugin tab?
  7. I keep getting Plex Media Server update requests in my Plex clients. When I compare with PMS update on their site, it is version PlexMediaServer-0.9.17.2.2159, whereas on the Unraid PMS version, it is 0.9.16.6.1993-5089475. I wasn't sure if the Unraid PMS is an all together different plugin than what Plex pushes out. Please advise. Thanks!
  8. You should run the tool to fix this issue I don't know what 0770 or 0777 means...I just had it set up to whatever default setup Unraid had....I just want to be sure if I have this plugin change the permissions, that my files and server don't go sideways
  9. Hi fonzie, No, unBALANCE doesn't work with the cache drive. I don't have one in my system, so I can't really help out, but a suggestion would be to use rsync. It's not that difficult in the end. Check the thread for rfs to xfs data transfer, it should be helpful. I know what fonzie is asking for and it is something I would find useful as well (I am sure others as well). It would be an excellent option to be able to just select an entire disk-to-disk transfer (if you didn't want to select folders). I am assuming your program scans the array for disk1 thru disk24 IDs....why not add Cache to that scan? Regardless...this plugin has been extremely awesome for my needs so far. Thanks!
  10. aha! That fixed it....I knew something wasn't quite right. Thank you!
  11. Updated...won't even calculate now. Just sits there at "CALCULATE: Operation started"
  12. Ok. I just realized something and I am a dumba$$. I had managed to move all the data off the old drive before I replaced it so it's not going to have data on the new drive. Wow. What a brainfart on my part.
  13. That’s a different issue, all data should appear when rebuild begins. Did it appear when it was showing red x (emulated disk)? Exactly what steps did you do to begin rebuilding? Yes. Previous drive failed due to old age. All I did was remove old drive, pre clear new drive, start rebuild process.
  14. If you mean an orange triangle in main view, this is normal, only after the rebuild is complete chenges to green. Why doesn't it show data accumulating on the drive during rebuild then?
  15. Did it have a red X (meaning disabled), or was it something else, such as a thumbs down on the Dashboard? Dashboard shows thumb up but there is still an orange triangle in the faulty section. It passed the preclear and has been rebuilding. It's at 54% and disk 4 shows no data on the drive. I canceled it. Logs attached. So is disk4 the drive in question? I hope you didn't format it. Did you? Yes. Disk 4. I only pre cleared it upon install and tried rebuilding it. Every time I rebuild, it doesn't show any accumulation of data on the drive during the rebuild. Is this normal for xfs? My drives were reiserfs before.

  17. It's compatible with almost any drive...the current leader (as far as drive reliability) is HGST. There is no size limitation other than just make sure your parity drive is the largest, or as large as your largest data drive.
  18. When it was first installed (and after reseating it) it showed a orange triangle in the faulty. Now it is a Red X (drive missing, contents emulated) only because it is unmounted for the preclear.
  19. I bought a 4TB NAS drive to replace an old drive. When I installed it, it showed up faulty right away in the main drive list. I don't know if that was from the previous drive. I figured it wasn't connected fully, so I pulled it out of the slot and pushed it back in. Still showed faulty. Short Smart test passed. I went to preclear it using the preclear plugin, the dialog box wouldn't pull up any information on the drive yet in the unassigned drive section, it shows the drive brand, model, serial number. I went ahead to preclear it (almost done). I don't have any logs right at this moment, but I don't want to rebuild yet until I understand what it is happening. I will update with logs later today. Any ideas in the meantime? Thanks!
  20. Ok...I'd like some advice on how to properly assess and correct a Red X on disk 4. Says disabled, contents emulated. Everytime I have done something, replaced a drive or whatnot, I have lost data, so I want to make sure I am follow the right steps. There is no data on drive. So...do I just replace it with a new drive or is this a correctable error? Smart log attached. Thanks! tower-smart-20160205-1304.zip
  21. bump for itimpi and myself...can anyone advise?
  22. Hello...I am in the process of converting all my drives FS from RFS to XFS. I have the plugin installed but not enabled until the whole conversion process is complete. Is there a common/optimum settings configuration to use once I am done? I look at all the options and I just don't know what it means.
  23. PSU is a Corsair HX850 I powered down (safely) and removed the disk from the the cage and put it back in. Powered back up. Seems fine now.
