  1. I am having this same issue with a new system. (i7-12700K, MSI Z690i AUROS Ultra, 32GB of Kingston Fury DDR5, 3x 1TB Samsung 980 Pro NVMe.) System seems to run fine for a few hours, then log fills up with the kernel: DMAR: ERROR: DMA PTE for vPFN 0xf2827 already set (to 200000000000 not 758ed9002) errors. Did you ever find a resolution? I am letting it run again now after lowering the memory clocks.
  2. I also would like this. I have a pocket sized PC. 8GB Ram, 256GB eMMC, 1TB NVMe, Quad Core 2+GHz CPU. I have a small 8GB Flash drive I use for Unraid, and have the NVMe for my storage drive. I would like to use the 256GB eMMC drive for storage of ISO files. ISOs take a LOT of space, but are rarely used, so having them on eMMC is not going to hurt my performance, and would be a better utilization of my available storage. Unattached drives can't see the space due to lack of Kernel drivers for the eMMC. With my setup, I am not going to be having an issue with Licensing the number of drives I have in the system.
  3. This seemed to solve it for the New VM. But my software is running on it also. I will have to see if it continues to work long term. Thank you to everyone who helped me!!!
  4. Within the VM. Dashboard is showing 35% (50% is allocated to VM) Also, this is running on my Cams Server. Cams 6TB unRAID 6.10.0-rc2 Basic - ASUS Prime Z390-A : i7-9700 : 16GB DDR4 : 2x WD60EFZX : F40
  5. So I had a Win10 VM to monitor my WebCams, but the software was failing to start due to 0ver 85% Ram utilization. (From Logs) So in trying to test some fixes to the issue, I corrupted that VM and it won't even start now. No problem. Everything it was doing was saved to shares, so no data loss. BUT When I installed a new Win 10 VM with 8GB of RAM, it has 93% Ram Use, with no software installed. I have read of possible Driver issues, so have moved from VirtIO 185 to 208, but there is no change in RAM Use. I have increased allocation to the VM to 12GB, and use stays same. Does anyone have any experience with this issue?
  6. OK. So I cleared the cache then immediately closed Chrome. I then rebooted the PC. Logged back into the PC, and opened Chrome. Opened Unraid page for the server, and clicked on the VM and then on VNC Remote. Still failed to connect. I was using this VNC session on here for weeks without issue. (To include some reboots, as it is a Windoze Client...) Never an issue until today. To be fair, I had taken these steps before ever starting the first post also.
  7. I am having this same issue. Clearing Cache is not making a difference at all. I am able to connect directly to the machine with RealVNC, so the issue is not in the host.
  8. Is there a reason that this is needed for some servers and not others? I had 2 6.9.2 servers. One needed the change to start user shares, and the other did not. Just curious.
  9. Process I used was just to rerun the installer tool on the same Flash Key as you have licensed, and then restore config directory from the backup.
  10. That was the end on my on screen updates also. That is caused by the video being selected in Tools->System Devices and then having the Video bound to VFIO-PCI. If your not actually passing thru the Graphics card to a VM, then you probably don't need that to be selected there. Once the system gets to that point in boot, it no longer has access to the video card and does not continue logging boot process to the screen. Good luck!!
  11. So the office machine was fixed with rewriting the USB key and restoring the Config directory. Thank you!!! My home server needed me to turn on the User shares to fix it. After following the guide for setup of MyServer app, I had to reboot afterwards to get the website to actually show it as online. That was a scary time... lol. And I had meant RC1 not alpha in that previous post. Thanks again for all of your help!
  12. Redownloaded and ran installer on the original flash key. Then copied the config folder over from my laptop. I think it is Success! It is at least booting. Tomorrow I will take the key back to the office and see if it will restart everything again. My home server is successfully back to 6.9.2 now. (Was 6.9.1 yesterday...) What is the deal with the 6.10 version? Docker can't start due to it's directories being lost? Can you point me to a good discussion of what I need to do to upgrade successfully to 6.10 alpha? Thanks for everyone's help so far!!!
  13. Copied the config folder to my laptop. Just download again to that same flash and copy back? Or manually overwrite the files on the Flash Key? I saw you were running 6.10.0-rc1, so thought I would upgrade my home server to this version. Now no Docker there... Oops! Going to have to revert it back....
  14. Never thought I would need one. My home server hasn't in over a year. I am hoping this is something I can fix by editing a file on the drive, just don't know where to start. I had tried for a while to get VGA passthru setup, but ended up not needing that. But it has successfully booted several times without issue until today... I will be backing up my home server today after this issue at work.
