Intel Arc support
Unfortunately no ARC support yet. To me ZFS didn't matter any but it's what's holding us back.

Intel Arc support
does 6.4 have xfs support so they can just roll it in?

Missing key file. Can I format and reinstall via terminal?
As an update I'm doing some reading and my USB key is giving an error. I read this error can sometimes be resolved by unplugging and plugging back in. can i simulate that via terminal? Tower kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Directory bread(block 31099) failed

Missing key file. Can I format and reinstall via terminal?
I'm 100 miles away from my server and woke up this morning to notifications saying the key file is missing. I can still access my dockers via the web but the dockers tab is missing and Sabnzbd will no longer download. 1) Did the server issues from yesterday have anything to do with our systems staying connected online or is this just coincidence? 2) Can I do a repair on the USB drive via terminal and reinstall the key? 3) I thought the USB contents were loaded into system memory when it booted. Why would it continually need to keep checking to see if there's a key present?

Unraid crash help
I setup a PiKVM and I'm not home, couple hundred miles away. I was telling Radarr to import a new list and everything locked up. Web access goes down. I go to piKVM and see this. How bad is it?

Request: 6.11.5 Guide for ARC support (Importing Thor's kernel)
Would one of you lovely people that has managed to make this work and stay stable be willing to write a small guide on how to alter the kernel in 6.11.5 for Intel Arc support?

Transcode / direct play Plex im sick of it, ill pay for help
1) Pick a file try to play it. See if it will. If it doesn't remember the file. 2) Go to the codecs folder in plex (easy audio encoder) 3) Restart plex and see if file plays. -then- I've been looking but the stupid mods have locked the r/plex page so I can't access there's a fix where you increase a value that has something to do with how many operations it can do.

Intel Arc support
Yea I didn't see any benefit as I was there for the ARC support that never came. Plex developer just messaged me on their forums saying that the latest libraries are in plex and ARC support is there across the board so if it works in windows it works in linux. I guess now it comes down to figuring out how to put this modified kernel into my 6.11.5.

Intel Arc support
Seems like that might be a good while. I was just looking and Thor has updated kernels for 6.11.5 that I believe support this. One user on r/unraid said he's been 70 days uptime with no issues. I'm thinking of going this route. https://github.com/thor2002ro/unraid_kernel/releases?page=1

Intel Arc support
Are there other cards that would suit this need? I really want to use the A380 in my drawer, it's been in there for a long time. I don't want to have to do VMs to get it going. My plex setup runs as a container on unraid and from what i can ready they've updated the ffmpeg in plex so it supports arc transcoding now. Even it just to hammer through HEVC I'd like to get it going.

Intel Arc support
14th gen intel is coming with AV1 support and I'd imagine the igpu there would drivers that need 6.2 as well, wouldn't it? At this point i'm debating selling my arc card and just waiting on 14th gen.

Is there a way to create a setup image?
WHOA! How long has that been there? Honestly would a paid support actually setup sonarr/radarr/plex? My god I'd have paid whatever to avoid everything I've been through. Nice to know!

Is there a way to create a setup image?
What? Unraid is a pain to setup when it doesn't have to be. You don't need to know networking and file paths and everything to use it. I had mine running for a year and never really touched it without issue. That's like expecting everyone that drives a car to be a mechanic. An easily deployable setup should be a step unraid should reach reach for because it's a major turnoff for people that don't have the time to dig into things.

What's the first thing I should do after a crash?
I'm in Colorado working and my server is in Texas. My plex was working great last night. Today it's not there. I don't know why. When I get home and want to troubleshoot why it crashed or went down. What's my first course of action?

Is there a way to create a setup image?
It’s not that big of a deal.

Is there a way to create a setup image?
I’m other words it a buddy is building a server but doesn’t know anything about unraid and isn’t that technical. Before he gets frustrated trying to follow a ton of lengthy YouTube guides, is there a way I could create a basic setup with the apps he’d want, all the paths and everything done? Basically create a setup where all he has to do is put in his API keys and be good? A template I could make and host he could just download and put his usb key to and save the endless headaches of starting from scratch?

Docker Pull/Extract Slow
I just posted kind of having the same issue. I'm not sure why. I've done some changes like a new router that it's behind and recently went to 6.11.5 so maybe there's compatibility issues. I deleted my docker image file and moved it to my SSD drives where the appdata was. I'm not sure if that's whats doing it but I'm seeing a little better performance. Maybe my drives are just being beat up doing scanning or something since it's basically a new install but moving around the GUI is very very sluggish when it wasn't before. I know it's something I did moving to 6.12 and now back to 6.11.5 but not sure what it is.

Reverted back to unraid 6.11.5 and system is now much slower
I jumped too early on the 6.12.0 bandwagon. So I went back to 6.11.5 and right now the system is very unresponsive. It works but it's not happy about anything. I've just deleted my docker vdisk and I'm reinstalling but it's pretty slow to download and install. When I am doing the download/install I can't do anything with the system in my other tabs. It's just very slow. On the dashboard it's showing my cpu sometimes peg all cores at 100%. I'm not seeing anything in the dockers using that much. Could it be that when in 6.12 and updating everything, all the plugins, that there were issues with compatibility once I went back to 6.11.5? Attaching my diagnostics to see what's eating up my machine. Tower Diagnostics 6-18.zip

Upgrade to 6.12.0 won’t boot. How to save config and start fresh?
Probably not. Would that bios update add the config option for i915?
-
Upgrade to 6.12.0 won’t boot. How to save config and start fresh?
Yes, to release a product knowing isn’t has a major bug is a fail. This isn’t “some” systems it’s probably one of the most used CPUs out there

USB error?
Went and bought a monitor to see why I can’t boot and seeing this. Is this a bad USB stick? Works fine on my desktop.

Upgrade to 6.12.0 won’t boot. How to save config and start fresh?
Who cares? It's an OS that if you install it bricks your system. That's not a stable release. This isn't some obscure server part from 1995 that I have in my system it's an 11th gen mainstream CPU. You think anyone doing an initial install is going to look back several releases and start there? No. They released something as STABLE that wrecks systems. That's not stable. I don't care what you tell yourself to justify it it's not a stable version.

so create a config file and type in "options i915 enable_dc=0"
