Okay that was not the case. Now its pretty much daily that the server just freezes, no connection over lan so safe shutdown is not possible, have to hard reboot to get it working again, and the logs only starts AFTER the reboot, so got no clue what happend before the freeze.

I had it installed but removed it and rebooted before blacklisting. So not anymore! belk-diagnostics-20220131-2106.zip

Thanks! Just one quick question! How do i blacklist i915? I´ve blacklisted something before, but I can´t remeber what or how at the moment, im drawing a blank. Google has not been my fiend either.

I think I´m starting to hone in on whats wrong, kinda user-error and "perfect storm" situation. I´ve got a Duplicati running backups on "important files" from unraid to my synology nas (if I ever have to rebuild the whole, it was running fine when I set it up, but had a bunch of errors in duplicati now, where it was trying to backup appdata while docker was running, resulting in a weird moment 22 where docker processes got killed and tries to restart when at the same time duplicati is there messing with everything. Removed appdata folder from duplicati and running a test now. (edit just finished with 0 errors). So user-error by me for even selecting appdata folder (must´ve had a brainfart) and escalating problems as a result.

In bios initial gpu is set to gpu2 (pcie1 is 1660ti pcie2 is 1050ti) , in the go file, i got "i915.force_probe=4c8a", also got "video=efifb:off" in syslinux.cfg

Did you solve this?? I´ve similar issues myself. But i´m down right not able to passthrough uhd750!

I`m gonna restart this post myself. Got it working with my gtx150ti as gpu passthrough, thinking my igpu would be enough for plex transcoding, and it Was. for myself, adding users and uhd750 supports MAX 3 1080p transcoding streams, and that just dont cut it for me. So now I´m again at your mercy. I´ve got video=efifb:off in my go file, and no service are using my igpu other than unraid. So atm my thinking is that unraid is somehow using my igpu, although im telling it not to, and when I´m trying to add it to a vm, I get = "XML error: Attempted double use of PCI Address 0000:00:02.0" I dont get why its "0000:00"? In my vm xml, graphic card (uhd750) has 00:02.0, but audio has 00:1f:3 , so thats a obvious problem, but the fact that XML error is 0000:00:02.0 I dont get, and don´t know how to fix. And yes, they are stubbed in "tools=systemdevices"

What?! That VM wasn´t even on when I tried to take the array offline. I just skimmed through the log and saw a bunch of hardware error - fatal, and didnt understand what it was. So nothing else is wrong? (The linux VM is an android TV vm, and it does not listen to normal "shut off this vm", I have to force it unless i´m using it, a promt pops up saying are you sure you wanna power off, and it will not power off unless yes is selected.) But why am I getting parity check at every boot?

So my server has been acting up lately, and I don´t know whats wrong. In the logs it shows a bunch of hardware errors, but I still don´t know exactly what is wrong, so if someone please could help me decipher my logs so I can fix whatever is wrong! Sometimes 1 thread gets pinned at 100% utilization, and it wander around the hole cpu changing thread every know and then, htop show something about smdb, only way to get it to stop is by running "fuser -km /mnt/user". Also have a Really hard time just to reboot it. Array is taking 7-10 minutes to stop, and when it boots up again it always runs a parity check, just as it was an "unclean" shutdown, although it wasn´t. Have never had to power cycle by holding down the power button, yet, but it feels like whatever is wrong is just getting worse. Its also showing 70-90% cpu utilization on the dashboard, but only 5-12% on htop, temps agree with htop aswell, near idle temps. Please help! I´m at the mercy of you guys right now, the only option I have left other then you, is doing a clean install of everything, and that would suck majorly. belk-diagnostics-20220124-2251.zip

It´s just like something gets overloaded. I can recreate it by just running time spy on 3dmark without any file transfer.

I´m on Unraid Version: 6.10.0-rc2, and I´ve recently started gaming on my Win11 vm, and at first everything was working fine. A couple of days ago I was gaming, then thought "I´ll start that transfer now that I´m gaming anyway", (needed to transfer 350gb from a laptop I was gonna re-install windows on). 10-15gb into the transfer the game froze, tried accessing >tower/ , nothing, then the hole server rebooted and I got parity check on boot, wtf. Thought it was my weak ass psu, so I bought a new rm850x v3, (11600k, 4 3.5" 6tb drives, 2 m.2 cache, 1 1660ti gpu, 1 1050ti gpu. Had a 550w PSU previously, and knew I were pushing the limit). Got the new psu today, installed it, insted of daisy chaining the gpus from the same pcie, I gave them one each, mobo had 4+2, on the old psu I just ran 1 4x, gave i 4+2, hooked a power meter up to it, and when it AGAIN froze the hole server, and it was only pulling 330w, so I know Its a software/config issue and not hardware. For some reasen it did not log the most recent "unsafe shutdown", but I´m posting the last-last one. (Note = I´ve had an issue where unraid starts a parity check on every reboot, but i´ve changed shutdown timer on the disks and I think* that solved it) ((* if you find something in the logs that says otherwise, please share) Please help! belk-diagnostics-20220115-1523.zip

So I´m struggling right know. I followed spaceinvaders guide to setup nextcloud with swag last night, and had everything working as it should. I then decided to try and add a second subdomain for qbit, and something borked the fuck out! Now nothing is working. I have port 80 set to 180 in unraid, and port 80 forward to 180 on my router, 443 set to 1443 and 443 forward to 1443 on router. At the moment I cant even access it on my local lan. 192.168.x.x:180 times out, 192.168.x.x:1443 times out, I´ve tried to remove swag and do a totally clean install, still the same. Everything is configured right but nothing is working. If I click on docker and try to open webui it times out. The setup right now is word for word after spaceinvaders guide, and open port chech says both 80 and 443 are open (not that it matters for local network) and if I shut down swag the ports read as closed.

Fixed it. In webui, I had set locations by the full path name, like : /mnt/user/Media/Osorterat when I should have set it as /data/Osorterat and /data/Incomplete. When I changed it like that it just started working! Had to download and setup delugevpn just to figure it out haha.

I did this with the install I have now, only i didnt re-install from CA, i used templet of 4.3.3 and installed 4.3.9 instead.

with docker set to /mnt/user/mediaa/ and in qbittorrent, reverting that to /config/qBittorrent/downloads/ (the "fresh install path") the downloads work just fine. It´s like it doesn´t matter what data path I set in the docker settings, the only thing that works is /config/qBittorrent/downloads/ in qbittorrent, changing that to anything else and it errors.

I´ve tried that to, still permission denied.

The strange thing is, that it does not seem matter what folder I set in the docker settings /data path, if I change back to its original "out of the box" folder in qbittorrent, the download work just fine.

Yeah thats not gonna happen, got 8tb of data in that folder. I´ve tried doing just as you said here, set the docker to a none existing folder, but I get the same error. Reason: manjaro-kde-21.2.1-220103-linux515.iso mkdir (/mnt/user/mediaa/manjaro-kde-21.2.1-220103-linux515.iso) error: Permission denied No sub folder, just setting incomplete and complete to /mnt/uset/mediaa/. And i´ve tried new permissions to that folder as well, still the same error.
