I'm pretty confident my USB drive is dying after being in use for under 6-months. It's gone into read-only mode for a second time now and I have a new Samsung Bar USB (as per SpaceInvaderOne's video) but before I reach out to support, I wanted to confirm I'm going down the right track. Each time its happened I've done some quick read-only checks with ChatGPT's help to confirm what's going on, then rebooted the system. The first time I went through that process, it all came up without issue. This second time round, I had to re-issue drive assignments (fortunately there's only a couple and easy to remember what went where), and enable the VM manager to get my VM running again.
