  1. I replaced the Qlogic with the dual-port Intel card, and while progress is made with the ixgbe module loading, I'm still unable to utilize the device. root@unraid:/var/log# lspci -v -s 01:00.0 01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82598EB 10-Gigabit AF Dual Port Network Connection (rev 01) Subsystem: Intel Corporation 10-Gigabit AF DA Dual Port Server Adapter Flags: fast devsel, IRQ 16, IOMMU group 1 Memory at b12a0000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=128K] Memory at b1240000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=256K] I/O ports at 4020 [size=32] Memory at b12c4000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K] Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 3 Capabilities: [50] MSI: Enable- Count=1/1 Maskable- 64bit+ Capabilities: [60] MSI-X: Enable- Count=18 Masked- Capabilities: [a0] Express Endpoint, MSI 00 Capabilities: [100] Advanced Error Reporting Capabilities: [140] Device Serial Number 00-1b-21-ff-ff-70-8f-66 Kernel modules: ixgbe root@unraid:/var/log# lspci -v -s 01:00.1 01:00.1 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82598EB 10-Gigabit AF Dual Port Network Connection (rev 01) Subsystem: Intel Corporation 10-Gigabit AF DA Dual Port Server Adapter Flags: fast devsel, IRQ 17, IOMMU group 1 Memory at b1280000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=128K] Memory at b1200000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=256K] I/O ports at 4000 [size=32] Memory at b12c0000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K] Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 3 Capabilities: [50] MSI: Enable- Count=1/1 Maskable- 64bit+ Capabilities: [60] MSI-X: Enable- Count=18 Masked- Capabilities: [a0] Express Endpoint, MSI 00 Capabilities: [100] Advanced Error Reporting Capabilities: [140] Device Serial Number 00-1b-21-ff-ff-70-8f-66 Kernel modules: ixgbe unraid-diagnostics-20210730-2001.zip
  2. Howdy! Trying to add FC HBA to my server, but honestly have no idea what I'm doing. Am successfully running a quad-port FC HBA in my R610 ESXi, a dual-port FC HBA in my R730 FreeNAS, and an identical single-port FC in my R710 Centos backup server. The last remaining piece is the UNRAID server. It shows up in the OS but I can't find any configuration options for it in the web GUI. I've scoured this forum and tried all manner of the listed suggestions (and watching the oft-posted How to setup 10GB Ethernet easily and cheaply on uNRAID), but am at a loss. It would appear the card requires the qla2xxx kernel module, and that the UNRAID-included qla3xxx does not support it, but I honestly have no idea. I've been a unix admin for 20+ years but fairly new to storage solutions so any assistance is appreciated, thank you! 02:00.0 Fibre Channel [0c04]: QLogic Corp. 3. Appreciate the reply; I am trying exactly that, and while the device shows up with lspci -nn | grep -i fibre 02:00.0 Fibre Channel [0c04]: QLogic Corp. ISP8324-based 16Gb Fibre Channel to PCI Express Adapter [1077:2031] (rev 02) UNRAID doesn't display it on the interfaces page, up and I can't find its path in /sys/class to see what UNRAID thinks it is.
  4. Howdy! How did you get the underlying O/S to pick up your Qlogic? Did you have to fiddle with anything in the HBA BIOS?
