just for fun, i changed the bus/slot but in the end the wifi controller now reports error code 10, kind a de ja vu :D, it was not reporting any error before this change, so i reverted it back. i dont see any error inside the windows event logs regarding the wifi module, neither in the qemu logs, i does no matter for me, so lets leave it as it is

that is the totally the solution i was able to save and revisit the xml after adding the additional xmlns tag into the domain and yes the qemu capabilites, what ever they do, i do not understand it to be honest, but the bluetooth error code 10 is gone, and i was able to connect my bluetooth devices again. thank you so much for resolving this issue PS: note if someone else wants to use this solution for his wifi controller, this did not work, the wifi controller is not return an error code, but i was not able to activate the wifi, but it is not needed for purposes so regarding the BT issue it is resolve 👨‍⚕️

well what shall i say, i have added the block to the end , and clicked save. point of proof added, but i do see what you mean, it is not saving as expected maybe this corelates with the issue that i can not copy anything from the xml to the clipboard, this issue started with 6.10, it was working fine with 6.9.2 is there a way to change the xml via the console directly?

you are right, diagnostics attached related maschine is qemu -> kodi i was not able to add a screenshot to the initial topic so i have attached it here, sorry for the german gui, but it is only showing error code 10 <.< guess this is not an issue to read

Dear all, i have a weired issue and was not able to resolve this on my own so far. i think it is related to this already existing topic alright lets share some information: unraid 6.10 running a windows 10 1909 (i think, maybe 2104) vm with qemu q35-6.2. i have linked some usb devices into this machine, - 1x usb mouse - 1x rgb adruino board - and the problematic bluetooth adapter which sits together with the wifi adapter as onboard device on the motherboard this is how it looks in the gui as far as i understood i have to forward both devices (bluetooth and wifi) because we can not split this device, this should be done right? notice: the logitech mouse as well as the arduino board run totally fine when the vm is started, the wifi devices seems to work fine, no errors in the device manager, but when trying to active the wifi it is not activating nor searching for wifi networks the bluetooth adapter directly fails to run, error code 10 inside the device manager what have i done so far, as far as i remember: - restarted unraid completly - stopped unraid, real shutdown, and started again - deleted both devices completly from the device manager including the drivers - rerun the virtio guest tools including the drivers - manually checked for updates on the newest virt io 215 for bluetooth/wifi and all the other known devices - unticked the devices, relaunched vm, stop and readded the devices to force a new installation - tried to follow the solution on the linked topic above, but i was not able to change the bus, it did not allow it cause the bus number did not exists, i am not able to copy & paste the xml sheet, since 6.10, it always copies "-" instead of the content, so i have added this screenshot I would be thankfull for any help or suggestion to find the cause of this issue. best regards

u can open the unraid bash from the webgui or use ssh to connect and enter uname –r which returns me for unraid 6.9.2 5.10.28 6.10.x rc seems to have 5.15.30 https://forums.unraid.net/bug-reports/prereleases/unraid-os-version-6100-rc4-available-r1774 for the second part, i guess u are asking for a Media Center Application in relation to hardware de/encoding, this is not as simple We have the great Intel Plugin from the community Apps, i already used handbrake with this hardware acceleration from my intel 10 series GPU But it is not possible to use onboard Intel GPU as output source for your television so far. to ouput via hdmi u need a dedicated GPU. if you only want to use this inside a docker or VM, with not HDMi /Displayport output you might be fine.

thanks for the great work, i did not the very importan parameter for the api url inside the example config as i was not able to run the api and frontend on the same ip nor via the subfolder proxy nginx server i needed to change the url for the api permanently. on first opening of vinkunja frontend there was always the wrong url, as written above, chaing this to https://domain.com/api/v1 worked fine but it is getting lost when opening on another device or after browser history clearing based on the docker install guide we can set this url via docker Environment https://vikunja.io/docs/install-frontend/#api-url-configuration i added this variable and it is now remembering the url permanently, maybe this can be added to the unraid template for the vinkunja-frontend PS: maybe some else does get this reverse nginx proxy manager get to work, https://vikunja.io/docs/reverse-proxy/#nginx-proxy-manager-npm this might avoid the use of the docker environment variable good luck

Hey guys, i got a simple question, but i dont know how to realize this yet. I have seen a tutorial from spaceinvader regarding the routing of docker containers through other docker container. in this example there was a vpn docker container used, so question is, is it possible to use the same docker vpn container for a virtual machine? thanks for your replies and help best regards astronax

i have seen suggestions from @mguttfrom 35€ and up, but those are very large, thin client looking, cases. smaller parts cost up to 80€ , so i think in my case its an easier solution to get an old dedicated gpu and use thr igpu for the 2nd vm

yes it does, thats sad but ok so i need an extrnal usb link adapter or dedicated gpu anyway i have a good use for the virtual gpu for another vm, so it was still worth it 🙂 thank you for your help

i am stuck again, sorry 😄 i have followed your step by step instructions. the gpu is assigned, and driver are installed, the intel 630 is correctly recognized in the taskmanager i have activated the rdp, which is working fine, now i am stuck on step 15. i guess this has to be done using the VNC from unraid, because via RDP it is not possible to change multi monitor settings. so i rebooted the vm, and switched from rdp to VNC, and can see the vm booting up (windows uefi/boot circle) then it freezes for some secs, after 10sec later it comes back and rotates once more und fades to complete black screen, i am not able to login or do anything, while i can still use rdp to connect and login in this situation. there is not a visible error in the vm logs i can see what did i miss? my goal is to apply step 16 and use the physically connected monitor on hdmi to the intel 630. should'nt this work at this point? best regards and many thanks in advance 🙂

ok given path has been deleted, unraid is prompting again with update or install plugin, so i did a restart again to avoid that. and it seems to work now, i was missing the reboot after folder delete, i did not know this to be required thanks again enjoy your weekend

OK its up again, the update button was not visible in the ca apps tab, so i choose the installiert after reboot AS suggested. Installing package gvt.g-2021.07.23.txz: PACKAGE DESCRIPTION: Package gvt.g-2021.07.23.txz installed. --------------------Downloading Intel GVT-g---------------------- ---This could take some time, please don't close this window!---- -------------------Can't download Intel GVT-g--------------------- plugin: run failed: /bin/bash retval: 1 Updating Support Links i guess i had an older version of your plugin installed some time ago. i am using unraid 6.9.2 on an intel i3-10105 with iGPU 630 i tried to install manually an older version of your plugin but was running in the error, 2021.07.23 is already installed, which ist not the case because the install failed. so i tried to clean the install and used the command line to plugin remove .... the current version i deleted the file from /boot/config/plugins + plugins-removed and rebooted the mashine i was able to install the version before the latest, but got the message inside the plugin page to check back if there was a /boot/config/modprobe.d/i915conf file which there was, so i deleted the file as suggested and rebooted so now i dont know how to proceed, is the plugin now correctly uninstalled to get a clean install? what can i do to install the plugin correctly? Please let me know if further information is needed. i would appreaciate any help, many thanks in advance regards AstronaX
