  1. Thanks for the help. I've never used Teamviewer on a server OS so I had no idea about the 2 ID's. I'll have to remember that for the future.
  2. That's the same page I was reading, but from that page it shows a user and a server ID for the session. That was the key. When I connect via the server ID, I have to log in with my user account again but it works! Thanks!
  3. On the Teamviewer site in their knowledge base for servers it says "On server operating systems, TeamViewer Remote operates without any special adaptation." Is there a link you can provide for what you're talking about? Also, it does work if I'm already connected to the server via RDP, but if I disconnect or minimize the RDP session Teamviewer stops working if it's already connected, and doesn't connect at all if it isn't already connected when I minimize or disconnect my RDP session. Getting back in via RDP makes Teamviewer connect and work again. The whole reason why I want to use Teamviewer is I want to keep my session open but disconnected on the server, and have my friend use Teamviewer to connect in and be able to work on the server. I don't want to open RDP access to my server from the internet.
  4. Sorry, totally misread your comment. My computer I'm connecting from and my laptop that the virtual monitor works on are both Windows 10 PRO 22H2, and my server VM I'm trying to get to is Windows 2019 Server Standard 1809.
  5. Yes, 15.57.3. For some reason I had the 32-bit version on my computer so I upgraded it to the 64-bit version. Still the same behavior where Teamviewer won't even connect unless I'm also RDP'd into the server and the RDP window is not minimized. When I minimize the RDP session Teamviewer just freezes. When I un-minimize the RDP window Teamviewer starts working agian.
  6. I want to Teamviewer into my Windows server I have running on my Unraid server. I have a physical laptop that I can use with the lid closed because Teamviewer's virtual monitor option kicks in when I connect. It does not do this connecting to my Windows server VM. In fact, Teamviewer won't even connect unless I'm also RDP'd into the VM, then Teamviewer connects fine. I've tried installing a virtual monitor from here:https://github.com/itsmikethetech/Virtual-Display-Driver?tab=readme-ov-file but it did not work. I know the server is still accessible because I can still connect to a server application I have running in the session when I disconnect my RDP session. I'm trying to give my friend access to my server via Teamviewer so he can manage the server application I have running there. I would even be happy with it working if I RDP into the server and just minimized the session, but Ideally I'd like Teamviewer to just connect like it does with my lid down laptop. Has anyone done something similar and got it to work?
  7. I struggled with this until I was editing the settings of the container I clicked the "show more settings" at the bottom. The preserve config variable is in the expanded settings list.
  8. I've been fighting to get the other release's container up and running for weeks. I just got yours up and running with just the license and the download link from my accounts page, easy peasy, thanks! One thing though, I'd like to share my Nvidia card that I'm sharing with my Plex docker to this one too for better performance. How would I go about doing that? Do I add the 2 variables I've got in my Plex docker? Like: Adding --runtime=nvidia to "Extra Parameters:" at the top of the advanced view Adding variables: NVIDIA_DRIVER_CAPABILITIES: All NVIDIA_VISIBLE_DEVICES: Nvidia device ID
  9. I currently have a Ryzen 7 PRO 3700 and I want to upgrade to a Ryzen 9 5950X. Will I have to do anything special within Unraid so it doesn't freak out when it boots up with a different CPU?
  10. I just had to replace a drive due to read errors and it started a rebuild. I grabbed diagnostics and attached them. weechflix-diagnostics-20231008-0923.zip
  11. I'm having a very strange problem. I was moving all of my music from my old computer to a share on my Unraid server. 95% of the music moved without issue, but about 5% will not move saying I need permissions. I tried replacing all the permissions on the files through Windows, but that didn't work. I can move the folders to another drive on my computer without issue, and I can move the folders to another share on my Unraid server without issue, but not the share I want the folders to be in. Is there a way to force move these folders to where I want them within Unraid? Maybe using the console since I was able to move the folders to a different share on the Unraid server?
  12. It 100% is doing an array rebuild, it's done it twice so far in the past 3 days while I'm adding drives. Am I doing something wrong in my process of adding other than not pre-clearing? My Array rebuild status is: Last check completed on Fri 6 Oct 2023 02:37:35 AM PDT (today) There's 2 pre-clear apps, Unassigned Devices Preclear and there's a Binhex-Preclear. Which one should I get? Thanks for all your help, I really appreciate it.
  13. Every time I install a disk, boot the server, stop the array, add the disk to the array, and then spin up the array again, it initiates an array rebuild and I need to wait 15 hours for that to finish. Also, how can I pre-clear the drive? Is it an option before I add a drive to the array?
  14. Came back with read errors, I'm just going to return it, thanks. Is there a way to not have the whole array rebuild every time I add a disk?
  15. I just bought and installed a couple hard drives into my existing array. I added one drive as a second parity, and when it finished the rebuild there were some SMART errors: 197Current pending sector0x0012100100000Old ageAlwaysNever16 198Offline uncorrectable0x0010100100000Old ageOfflineNever16 I've attached the SMART report on the drive. Can I clear these errors? Are these normal? Should I seek a replacement for the drive because of these errors? I'm looking for guidance as I've never had to deal with errors like this before. 16. Ah good call, thanks! I found I have a couple plugin errors. I didn't know they would show up in another tab. My only option is to delete them, I can't update them or anything. Also it doesn't show what the error is, it just says Error in orange. Is there any way to see what the issue is? It appears that the gpustats plugin I was using doesn't exist anymore, or changed. I found a GPU Statistics that is working for me.
  17. Since I updated to the new Unraid version my video card tile on my dashboard has disappeared. I looked in the tiles settings and all the tiles I can have checked are, but there's no option to add my video card tile back in. I miss seeing those statistics since I use it for my transcoder for Plex. Is there a way to get it back?
  18. Thanks! That fixed it and I can see the folder again.
  19. All of my recycle folders seem to have disappeared from my folders when browsing via Windows since the last update. I just had to reboot the server for another issue and my recycle folders are still not showing up anymore. I've tried restarting the service itself without issue. It's showing sizes for the folders I've deleted things from. I can view shares in Unraid via Shares and see the recycle bin folder, and I'm able to view/browse the share from Unraid GUI and see files/folders in the recycle bin. Unraid versino 6.11.5 Recycle bin plugin version: 2023.5.20
  20. I switched to a faster nic, changed rules to use new nic as eth0, rebooted, and everything works... except my unraid connect. I'm getting this error at the top right corner. Do I have re-do that since maybe it thinks it's a new device making the connection? I still have all my same router, I just changed the nic and my main switch in my house. Connect says my server is offline. Another issue that's just come up is my Plex server. Everything works perfectly from inside my local network, and Plex says it's accessible from the internet, but I cannot connect to the server from outside my network. VM's I have on my unraid server have internet access. And none of my plugins can contact anything to update, they all say not available. I tried signing out, unregistering and re-signing in, and that was successful, but I'm still getting this issue. weechflix-diagnostics-20230508-1002.zip
  21. I'll have to keep an eye on those settings after I update. Thanks much for the help, very much appreciated.
  22. I turned on sharing on all 4 mounts and they are now showing up in my Windows explorer. I've never had to set those before, are these settings being reset when I update the plugin?
  23. I posted diagnostics earlier but here's a new pull. It's currently in the middle of a parity check right now, and I lost power earlier so the server was rebooted and came back online around 1pm CST. weechflix-diagnostics-20230502-1726.zip
  24. They are shared because everything is accessible, I just can't see the shares to browse them in Windows explorer like I used to be able to. SMB sharing is set to yes (workgroup) which shouldn't have changed from when it was working, and SMB is set to public in UD. Setting this to public fixed this issue the last time I had it, but it's already set to public. I've set it to disabled, and then public again in UD, I've unmounted and re-mounted the shares on the main page, even rebooted both the server and the NAS. I even looked on the Synology NAS, saw there was an update for SMB, updated it, and enabled SMB3. Then unmounted and re-mounted the shares in unraid. They still aren't showing up in Windows explorer.
  25. Network is fine, everything else on the network is working without issue or error. Friend is able to connect to and play a game on my server hosted on unraid. People can connect to my Plex hosted on unraid, media streams without issues, and movies with the source files on my Synology play through Plex fine. What you posted was from April third where I rebooted all my network equipment to try and fix this issue.
