  1. I'm having an issue that the fixes here didn't fix. I had my same issue in February and setting the SMB setting in UD to public fixed it for me, but the issue is happening again and it's already set to public. (https://forums.unraid.net/topic/135657-some-shares-disappeared-but-are-still-accessible/#comment-1234555) My issue is, I have a Synology NAS with SMB shares mounted to my Unraid server. The server sees the shares, Plex sees the shares, and I can browse them via the web interface of Unraid. When I UNC path to \\server\ it shows the Unraid shares but my Synology NAS shares have disappeared. This is probably something simple that I'm missing.
  2. Interesting, didn't know that. I'll have to keep that in mind for the future.
  3. That fixed it. SMB Security was set to No but setting it to Public made the shares show up again, thanks! Can you explain why those shares are considered "unassigned devices"? It wouldn't have even occurred to me to check there. I thought unassigned devices are devices that aren't assigned, like storage disks not yet assigned to an array.
  4. I have 2 NAS's, unRAID and a Synology. I recently rebooted my unRAID server and my Synolgy. Afterwards I noticed the SMB shares for my Synology aren't showing up when I browse to \\unraidserver. The shares are accessible from my computer via \\Synologynas and from the docker container where I have them mapped to /mnt/remotes/. They also appear as mounted SMB shares in unRAID's main menu with a green dot next to them. Everything appears to work fine except that they just don't show up in my explorer window anymore. Nothing has changed on my unRAID server or the Synology other than I had to power them both down and back up recently, and the issue started right after that.
  5. Just to update this thread, the issue hasn't cropped up since the memory checks. The checks never found any issues but it seems to have resolved whatever was crashing Unraid. I'll continue to keep an eye on it.
  6. Ran the mem test all night, 2 passes and 44% through a third, 15 hours, 0 errors. This is what my GUI starts to look like before dockers and the gui itself eventually become unresponsive a day or 2 later.
  7. How do I do this? I don't see an option for it in Tools.
  8. I've started to have an issue where my server either partly or fully locks up and I need to reboot it from the console. On a partial lockup the web console doesn't load all the elements properly, but either the docker or vm's continue to run. On a full lockup nothing works and I need to hard down the server. I've attached my logs of my most recent partial lockup and the diagnostics I collected right after the last hard lockup. This time I received an error that my array check has failed, but I can't find where to find more information about that error as all the web console screens show everything in the green. I'm not sure what's going on and I'm not sure where to go to start troubleshooting this issue, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated. weechflix-diagnostics-20221217-1008.zip weechflix-diagnostics-20221124-1234.zip
  9. I'm having a weird issue that popped up within the last couple updates. I have my Plex doing a library scan every 6 hours. It usually runs fine, but lately it seems to get stuck somewhere along the line. It's different every time, but the icon at the top will spin endlessly and will show an item it's scanning, but that will never change until I restart the container. Is there a way to stop it's scanning and restart it? Or see what it's doing/stuck on?
  10. They seem to be talking more about customizing tabs, and it's 2 years old. Really only the last post is about the issue I'm having. Are you suggesting it's a requested feature or it's already been suggested before?
  11. I can adjust the panes in my dashboard, but only within 1 of the 3 columns of panes. I can move panes up and down in the column, but not side to side. Is there a way to fully move the panes around wherever I want? It seems strange that I'm constrained to a column, but maybe I'm missing something in the settings.
  12. Anyone have any ideas? It's quite annoying to have a Windows server on this system not be able to access the smb shares that every other windows machine on my network can access without issue. I believe it's some configuration issue with the VM, but I don't know what it could be because I have internet access.
  13. I just spun up a Windows 2019 server in my unraid. I can access the internet, I can get to my unraid console from it via the browser, but I can't access any of the shares (all SMB shares). All my shares are set to public for my local network and I can access them from any other computer on my network, but for whatever reason I can't access them from my new VM. Is there something I missed in the setup or the config?
  14. I would like to add my need for this feature as well. I would love to have multiple raid arrays, with multiple parity disks, so if a disk dies somewhere I don't need to wait days for my whole array to come back online. Why would anyone need multiple cache pools? I have a 500gb m.2 for my cache drive, single pool, and I could have gone 1tb, so it's not a space or speed issue.
  15. And now I have 5 people on, 2 direct plays and 3 transcodes handled by my gpu, and my cpu cores are barely 2%.
  16. Unraid 6.9.2. I currently have 2 streams going, P2000 passed through to my binhex-plexpass docker, and the gpu is handling both streams per "watch nvidia-smi" and the GPU Status plugin. BUT, for some reason now all my cores just spiked 80%+ and are staying there. Any ideas what the heck is going on? It's not the first time all my cores have spiked up for a while for seemingly no reason.
  17. This all used to run perfect on my old ass computer, I7-860 with a p2000 and Windows 10. My new unraid server I built has a Rizen 7 pro 3700x in it, but once 3 or 4 people connected to my Plex server to stream and transcode stuff, all 16 of my cores would almost constantly be spiked at 95%. I got that processor so I wouldn't have to run the p2000 anymore, but apparently this isn't as amazing of a setup as it looks on paper. I'm very disappointed in this so far.
  18. ok that makes sense. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it. I put my p2000 video card in my server earlier, and I was following Spaceinvader's videos on how to get Plex to use the video card for transcodes, and it doesn't seem to be working. I also set up tdarr to convert some of my files because I'm having the EAC3 audio codec bug now where Plex just won't play anything with the EAC3 audio codec. I set up the video card with the 2 variables in the container exactly the same way on both containers. Plex won't work, but tdarr uses the GPU transcoding fine. Is there a trick to getting that working in Plex?
  19. Alright, deleted the docker and the image file, and recreated it. I have 3 maps so I could get everything to work: Host Path 2: container path is /media and host path is /mnt/user Transcode: container path is /transcode and host path is /tmp/transcode Remotes: container path is /mnt/remotes and host path is /mnt/remotes /media is all my content on unraid, and /mnt/remotes is all the SMB shares I've mounted in the unassigned devices section. All of my content appears to be accessible, although when I first clicked on browser from within Plex it told me it was inaccessible, and then displayed the contents. I haven't received that error again. On the main page of Unraid under memory, I have 32gb, and it shows 41% is Docker. Is there a way for me to see what docker is using that much ram, or is it safe to say that it's Plex and that's normal? Is there anything that seems out of place or incorrect in my configuration? I honestly don't know what the difference is between what I had and how it's set up now.
  20. My appdata is mapped to my 1TB nvme m.2 drive. I have a second nvme m.2 500gb drive as my array cache.
  21. See my post above this one. I didn't remove the image yet, do I need to also use the checkbox to remove the image when I delete the Docker? I'm really nervous about removing it completely and losing all of the work I put in setting it up. Thanks for your help!
  22. So do I want to remove the container with the checkmark to remove the image too? I really don't want to lose everything I've set up, or have to rescan everything because that took forever too. I'm having this weird problem now where stuff that used to play shows up fine in Plex but it just doesn't play anymore. The files themselves play fine, but in Plex it just wont play at all, the loading circle just spins. All of my other dockers are "bridge" except my Binhex-Plexpass, it shows up as: binhex-plexpass host 192.168.15.187 ???? I also attached my maps from Docker and my mounts from unraid. I can browse the mounts in unraid just find, and the movies/shows show up as available now, Plex just won't play them.
  23. I was looking at that, why is it using 41%? That seems like a lot. And will the Docker template only show up after I delete it? Because there's not one stored in apps now and it kind of worries me about deleting the container. And yeah unfortunately my NAS is pretty much full, but if it fills up it shouldn't disconnect and make all files stored there unavailable to Plex, it just shouldn't let me add anything new to it, right? Making all the files already stored there unavailable seems like strange behavior for running out of storage.
  24. Ah ok, I didn't know that was a local backup. Still, I'd hope to see something there before I delete the container. Also, my Synology NAS I have SMB mounts to just disconnected again, no idea why my Plex is always showing shows and movies as unavailable on that, but that's not right because when Plex was running on my old ass computer I had none of these problems. I'm attaching my diagnostics, no idea what's going on, the mounts show as mounted on unraid's home screen. weechflix-diagnostics-20211022-2120.zip
