actually, are you sure you have the GPU properly installed ?

i dont see any hardware in your pcie devices ... while if its in the main PCIe slot it would be most liekely 00:01...

    image.thumb.png.17ff00428d6b35e04d12ddc0b3a26f76.png

and its empty like nothing is installed (hardware), may check if its properly seated and power connected ... if so, may start with a live USB Stick and see if it works ...

    Ohhh, I undertand now...
I don't have an external video card.

I am using a video card integrated into the motherboard, as my server is just for running a VM and file server.

In this case, I can't install an OBS docker, correct?

    Gentlemans, say Hi!...lol

I'm still lost as to how https (SSL) works.
I will enumerate the questions to make it easier to help.

    1) Secure Connection
    A) I read the unraid manuals and saw that if I access my server at https://my_ip.my_id.myunraid.net it already has a secure connection (https)

    B) If you access name_server.local it does not have a secure connection.

I understood, the option A, unraid provides SSL and the option B I have to install an SSL.

    2) VPN
My difficulty is that I'm using ZeroTier, and when I access it through option A or B it doesn't connect through SSL.
Even using option A doesn't connect https , because the network's IP changes      https://my_ip_zerotier.my_id.myunraid.net

    3) Docker Vaultwarden
I installed this docker and it won't let me connect to webUI without a secure connection (https)

    4) I can't figure out why it works via https (SSL).
I'm asking for help again because I'm a little confused and lost.

    Thanks in advance.
    And come and discover Brazil.
    Hugs to everyone
    I am Braulio....lol

The cert needs to be signed by a CA the browser trusts.  Your options (to avoid seeing warning) are to turn off SSL or you can apply for a free myunraid.net Let's Encrypt certificate.  In your present configuration, the connection is still encrypted, just not trusted.

    Where can I a free myunraid.net Let's Encrypt certificate?

Just assign new disk to disk1 slot and start array, no reboot needed.

I did it today. Looks like it's all right. Parity is OK.

The old disk showed up under Unassigned Devices, and when I opened it, all the files were there.

The files are opening normally. Are they valid or could something be missing due to parity?

I'm going to use this HD for backup, so I thought I'd leave these files inside.

After doing the new config (tools -> new config) and selecting keep all assignments.

    Yes.

JorgeB, I did the last step and now parity is ok.
    Now, I need change disk1 to disk2.
On the Unraid website it says:

"Unassign the old drive if still assigned (to unassign, set it to No Device)"
I already connected the disk2 before power.
Now, I just need assign disk2 in place of disk1, or is need unassign (no device) before and restart server?

First you must make the array valid again without disk2, so do a new config, keep all assignments, check that only parity and disk1 are assigned, check "parity is already valid" and start the array, since disk2 was never formatted parity should still 100% in sync, but run a parity check to confirm, if all OK then you can replace disk1.

For do a new config I only need click "parity is already valid" and start the array?

I "run a parity check to confirm" after a new config? For test just click in Check?

Disk1 shows some reallocated sectors but looks mostly OK, run an extended SMART test on disk1, if it passes do a new config with just parity and disk1, check parity is already valid and run a parity check.

I've been having trouble with Disk 1 for a long time. In this post you helped me understand and I came to the conclusion that I should change.

I do SMART test and said "Completed without error".
Initially I needed to change the disc 1 to disk 2.

If I stop array, remove the disc 1, and put the disk 2 in it's place, is it possible to redo parity or is not possible because it is invalid?

  8. Guys, I need help, I did something and I don't know which way to go!
    I will explain in detail.

    1) Step 1
I have two HD, being. 1 parity 4tb and 1 data disk 4tb.
The data disk started to show problems.
I did the following procedure to change.

    1) Step 2
I connected a new disk to the motherboard and did not remove the current one.
I stopped the array and added the new disk (I didn't remove the old one). So I was left with two discs of dates in the array.
Then I realized that I did it wrong, because I need to remove disk 1 and put disk 2 in its place.

    1) Step 3
I stopped the array and removed disk 2 from the array list (I selected the "no disc" option), but I didn't touch disk 1.
I restarted the server and turned on array.

    1) Step 4
The files that appear in "shared" have a triangle on the icon.
I read on the unraid wiki they're not protected by parity, but they are there, nothing was deleted.

    1) Step 5
I don't know what I should do right now!
My concern is if when I put disk 2 in, if new files were copied to it.
And what I need to do is swap disk 1 with disk 2.

    Tks

    great... I'll do that

Thanks you all for your help

I'm going to replace the HD.

I only have one parity and one data drive.

I checked in the manual https://wiki.unraid.net/Replacing_a_Data_Drive that I need to remove the data disk from the array and put the other one and do a procedure in settings.

After that the data will already be copied to the new HD.

My question is.... how will the parity copy the data if the HD that contains the data will be disconnected from the array?

Are you sure you never had any disk problems?   Most OS simply ignore these errors so you never know they are happening until the disk finally fails completely.  Unraid tries to give you some warning so that you can take pre-emptive action while there is still a chance to do something before data loss occurs.

Yes I agree...I expressed myself wrong.

I've never lost data, disk never completely failed before.

That disk has a lot of reallocated sectors which is never a good sign.   In theory if the number stays constant then you can continue using the drive, but if it keeps increasing then that is a definite sign that the drive could be about to completely fail.

FYI:  Reallocated sectors are nothing to do with the host OS - they happen completely internal to the drive and are invisible to the host OS.

I had a problem with an SSD last year.

    And now with HD.

I never had hard disk problems before, but when using Unraid it happened.

Is it having excessive reading and writing on the disk or is it not resting?

SMART is showing some issues, but they might be old, click the thumbs down and select acknowledge then see if new errors come up.

I get some errors every day, that's why i think have some problem.
But maybe this errors can be old.
Now I clicked the thumbs and showed "healthy OK"SMART REPORT ST4000VN008-2DR166_ZDH9T7NS-20230212-1323.txt

Can i test the HD? Where I must click?

I´m from Brazil. There are few people here who understand about Unraid.

    Thanks for your help.

  13. Hi, I continuous lost.

My server has a problem in Hard Disk, but I´dont know how to solve.

Its showing this error long time (4/6 months).
I've the impression that HD has a problem.

I already had problems with the first HD and now apparently with this one.
I'm thinking of stopping using Unraid because the HD spoils easily.

Could someone help me to verify if it is an error in the HD and how to solve these errors?
    Thanks

PS: I always receive email alert about HD temperature....around 45 degrees
