  1. I am having this same issue since upgrading to v6. It is indeed SA filling tempfs and then logging stops. I have been manually deleting the saXX files once tempfs fills up so that logging can resume. Wondering if this is on LimeTech's radar as an issue?
  2. Just wondering if there have been any updates on this gfjardim, possibly in another thread that I missed? Thanks!
  3. Yes, and I had movies streaming during the time I was setting it up (expecting to see info showing up) and it wasn't. It suddenly showed info later. I know it makes no sense, but that's what happened. It's also possible I updated the container to rebuild it and that's what did it. FWIW, it does work fine in bridge mode, but as you say it does require more configuration. I'm running it in bridge mode just fine, but I did read the config files carefully and also used a Linux-friendly editor to make changes.
  4. SMART reports, or SMART tests? A drive can pass a SMART test and still have other issues revealed by examination of the SMART report.
  5. It's definitely losing connection to the drive. I'd suspect a cable/interface issue, not necessarily the drive. Try a different cable and/or move the drive to a different port. When you preclear the drive are you doing it with the drive in its current position in the array? In other words are you using the same cable and port to do the preclear? It also wouldn't hurt to post a SMART report for the drive in question.
  6. Brand: Seagate Model: ST3000DM001 Approximate age at failure: 1.8 years Drive in warranty: Yes The drive just up and died one day, no issues prior. Drive was completely offline, exhibited the "click-of-death", and unable to pull a SMART report. SMART reports prior to death were clean as a whistle. I no longer have the last SMART report prior to death, but it was 6 days before the failure of the drive, and not a single abnormal parameter. 7. I doubt I can be of help other than to say I had numerous issues as well when setting up PlexWatch. After setting changing from localhost to IP, and also adding Plex account user/pass info (as you mention) I finally gave up for the day but left the Docker running. The next day when I went to work on it again it was working and populated with data. Once it is working it acquires new data instantly, but at least for me when first setup it didn't acquire any data for at least an hour. In addition to that, I have seen Docker containers be a little flaky on initial setup on more than one occasion. In every instance, going to the container settings page and clicking update, which causes the container to rebuild (even if you didn't change anything), has resolved the issue.
  8. Yes. Earlier in the thread I stated that I had just discovered there was a Mumble docker by coppit, and to consider the request closed. Thank you for your efforts anyway. Is there a tag I should change the original subject to to denote this is no longer being requested?
  9. Just realized there is a Mumble Docker in coppit's repository. Consider this request closed.
  10. Awesome. Thanks guys. Looking forward to it.
  11. I've never liked TeamSpeak. Out of the top 3 VoIP "gaming chat room" products (Ventrilo, Mumble, and TeamSpeak) you'll almost always find TeamSpeak ranked dead last by the people that actually use them. Mumble is also nice, and open source, so I've added it to the subject, as I'd be just as happy with it. I also understand this is a very limited use case compared to a lot of Dockers, so I'd completely understand if nobody is interested in developing and maintaining a Ventrilo or Mumble docker. Just throwing it out there in case someone with the skills would consider giving it a go.
  12. I know someone brought this up in the past but I don't think it went anywhere. I'm assuming with the advent of hurricane's X base image this might now be easier?
  13. If that's the case, I'm guessing that pretty much makes it unfeasable. Mine is a network printer. I don't think anyone would have a printer directly connected to the unRAID server as the OS doesn't have CUPS or any printing functionality.
  14. how about printer drivers though ? That's what I was wondering. Perhaps include the Universal driver for the major brands? In my case it's an HP laser, so the HP universal driver should work just fine. You'd also have to be able to configure the printer, but assuming this could be handled in an X window thanks to hurricanehernandez's base image?
  15. There have been ways for a while of running software on a desktop machine to allow iOS devices to print to non-AirPrint printers. This of course requires the desktop to be on when you want to print. Since my unRAID runs 24x7, it's the logical place for this service to live. I don't know if this is even possible in a container (I'm a hardware guy, not a programmer), or whether this is better suited for a very lean VM. I suspect since any number of different printer drivers would be required that a VM is the way to go, but I hoping you all can enlighten me.
  16. I personally wouldn't trust drives with pending sectors, especially ones you can't clear. In addition, my experience is once a drive develops pending or reallocated sectors it's all downhill from there. Considering the age of the drives, I'd retire them. If I could get the pending sectors to clear I'd consider using them for offline backups of non-critical data.
  17. It's shows the current speed of the individual CPU cores at the time you clicked the button, at least on my server. Put the server under load and see if the speed increases.
  18. Me too Also using B15 with Needo's Plex Media Server docker, and no issues. Same here.
  19. Have to agree with what's been said so far. The stock Intel heatsinks are more than sufficient for the job. If the choice is between an SFX PSU and an aftermarket heatsink, definitely go with the PSU. That said, it certainly looks like a nice heatsink and I'm sure it works well. If you're looking to upgrade your heatsink it looks like a good choice.
  20. I've run Exchange from home on a dynamic IP for several years. I just subscribed to DynDNS and used their mail relay service. My MX records pointed to them, and then they forwarded mail to me on port 10025 so it wasn't blocked by my subscriber. The cost was pretty reasonable as well and it includes AV/AS scanning. I only move to Office365 as I get 5 free users for being a MCT which happened to cover off my family I was supporting on Exchange, so it seemed like a good idea. I've ended up using the Office365 relay option in UnRAID and it's working well. Because I am relaying using my account the email comes from me, which I was hoping to avoid, but it's a minor annoyance. Good to know. Wasn't aware of the service. As for Office365, I assume your using the Client SMTP submission method, and not actual SMTP relay?
  21. FWIW, I'm not disagreeing with you in regards to gmail and other services. I was simply replying as to the difficulties in running your own mail server from home.
  22. If you're on a static IP and have had the ISP set up a reverse DNS record for your mail server, running one at home can work. But on a dynamic IP (most residential connections) where reverse DNS records are impossible, most of your mail will get rejected and/or tagged as spam as NAS states. In addition, most residential IP blocks are blacklisted by spam filters. So yes, it can be done, but it's an uphill battle.
  23. RDP should be available. You need to login to the Windows 8.1 VM via the browser based connection and set the Windows VM to allow RDP connections. Right click My Computer, properties. Click remote settings. Under Remote Desktop click allow remote connections to this computer. Uncheck network level authentication.
