Why is this plugin showing up as blacklisted now?

Could you tell us on which blacklist it appears? We don't see anything like it

    Best regards.

I just. installed Filebrowser but there is an issue with folders.

So if I am an admin and have a folder, and if I add a user they can see everything in my own folder. How do we prevent this from happening?

    Hi,

That's not a problem, it's how filebrowser works. If you need to separate users you must create different folders for each user and in the Scope option you add the path to the share you have created in the format /folder/folder/folder/. You have to end with a / otherwise you will get an error.

    Best regards.

I would love to have access to CurlFtpFS on my server. I have some specific use cases thay would be so much easier this way. I didnt see any mention of a specific place to make requests. 😉

rar2fs is linked to libunrar.so.6.1.7. Running it gives:

rar2fs: error while loading shared libraries: libunrar.so.6.1.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

Either it needs to be compiled to libunrar.so or you need to:

    ln -s /usr/lib64/libunrar.so /usr/lib64/libunrar.so.6.1.7

Would be nice to have it all set when installing from NerdTools.

Thanks for all your hard work btw. Is there a way to send a 🍺?

    Hi,

    Thank you by your noticed.

The problem is fixed on 2024.02.17 version.

Can someone replace the p7zip package against the original 7z binary, which can be downloaded from the website? Its a full binary without dependencies:

    https://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Regarding my tests it's at least 5x faster than the p7zip package. The main reason is that it is able to multi-thread/multi-core decompress:

    Hi,

Right now we use the package created from SBO, we will study the option you mention. Thank you very much.

Is it possible to add RHash into the Nerdtools pack?

    https://github.com/rhash/RHash

I'm unable to build and compile the tool myself as it requires a gcc compiler, which I haven't been able to mange to install in my unRaid system (the old DevPack plugin is incompatible with unRaid versions > 6.10.3).

Otherwise if there is perhaps any other tool for doing md5 hash checks, which is perhaps a little more versatile than the default md5sum utility.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    Request open: https://github.com/UnRAIDES/unRAID-NerdTools/issues/114

We will try to add it in future versions.

It's not there, not found in packages.json.

Was requested but never added, and the desc file has apparently been taken from the old NerdPack and that entry wasn't cleaned up. Maintenance for this plugin has quickly become almost as spotty as for NerdPack...

Added and fixed a error on 2024.02.05 version.

I'm not aware of any reason for it not to be added. The repo owner seems to be MIA, not responding to the PR, not updating the repo, not commenting here.

I have notes in my PR for installing the necessary compiling tools to compile on Unraid https://github.com/UnRAIDES/unRAID-NerdTools/pull/84

I also made an application I call DiffLens, which uses Blake3 hashes instead of MD5 hashes to do file integrity validations on Unraid shares https://github.com/UnRAIDES/unRAID-NerdTools/pull/84

thanks for your effort, as soon as I have a moment I will look at it and let you know.

    Best regards.

    Could we get gcc/g++

I don't think unraid is an option as a development machine. For this purpose I really recommend a virtual machine with Slackware for example if you need to create packages for unraid by yourself.

LFTP doesn't work, missing the libssl dependency

lftp: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Recently updated my unraid server to 6.12.6 from something pretty old, at least a year or two since I last updated.

Had to reinstall the NerdPack plugin. Re-installed lftp with it, and got the above error.

The oficial website is in Spanish because the developer lead is a Spagnol but the app FacturaScript has translate to various language.

Shouldn't need to care about the nvidia part of things, just support is there if you have the hardware but it should work just fine in software.

    Hi,

OK, perfect then, I haven't used any of the ffmpeg apps and didn't know them. Thank you very much.

@wesman can you try this please ?

@Mcklaren just flagging in case it was missed, I noticed you commented on all other requests but mine... it would be fantastic to have this available in nerdtools for convenience.

Right now we only add official slackware packages and those in SBO.
Still, it looks like an interesting package, we will try to create it or create a docker containing the tool with access to the devices /dev part of unraid.

I would LOVE a Docker that contains FFMPG. I would be forever thankful! If there is anything I can do to help. Even if its ordering PIZZA!

As @Kilrah said there are several applications in the app store, see if you need any of the current ones and if not then create a docker only with ffmpeg.

    12 hours ago, Kilrah said:

There's one in apps already, and plenty more on dockerhub you can use.

It is true that there are several, but they all have something else, really with only contain ffmpeg there is none and the option of dockerhub if you are a new user can be more complicated. But you are right and there are several. Thank you.

    Best regards.

    Yep, that did it, thanks!

Do i just add that command to the go-file?

How do i get it to 'stick' after reboots?

    Thanks

    Hi,

you can create a script with user script plugin or if your prefer go file and add:

    Quote

    # enable delayacct for iotop
    sysctl kernel.task_delayacct=1

with this option when you reboot the system delayacct is enable automaticly.

    Best regards.

    WOW, you da man!

I used to have the Pack for years, but since it was deprecated i switched to Tools. It's been broken ever since.

I uninstalled python2 and iotop, then install python2, and finally iotop, individually in that order, and now it works!

But now I'm getting a warning when iotop runs:

    image.png.4de6affbab21e1a6a13988b45733581e.png

Any idea how to fix that?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Can you type in the terminal

    Quote

    sysctl kernel.task_delayacct=1

and see if it works ?
When you type that command you have to exit and re-enter the terminal and run iotop again. If it works fine you just have to create a script with the user script plugin and add a new script with the same command you put in the terminal and tell it to run when you start the array.

    Best regards.

I see that StorCLI (For LSI) has been requested a couple of times.

    Hi,

for now we only add official packages or packages that are in SBO but we don't create packages ourselves due to lack of time. If you have a SlackBuild of the package we can try to add it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Best regards.
