  1. is not this a bare necessity for storage server, which is not free. ? at least official plugin is must be there. sir.
  2. hello, around 40 different window users access files on our unRaid server through SMB. how to verify which user did what to shares and its files ? i mean who accessed, who edited, and who deleted ? I need proper access log for each user.
  3. I am on unRiad 6.12.4. 20TB X 3 HDD for DATA 20TB X 1 HDD for Parity 2TB x 1 NVME for cache Queries 1). primary storage is "Cache" and secondary is "Array". "Mover action" set to Cache → Array Which files will mover move ? I mean Oldest first ? or First comes first move ? or by other rule ? 2). primary storage is "Cache" and secondary is "Array". "Mover action" set to Array → Cache 2A). Again., Which files will mover move ? 2B). Will mover moves file from array till cache becomes full ? 2C). If two or more shares having same Array → Cache action set for mover then, how to decide which share will have more cache space allocated after move ? 3). I do assume Movers moves files like cut + paste. Or it behaves like copy + paste ? or in deferent scenario behaves differently ? 4). if first share having mover action set to Cache → Array and other share having mover action set to Array → Cache then because of second share cache remains always full and no new cache space remains for first share after move ? forgive me if I am taking mover behaviour totally wrong. But after reading WebGUI's suggestion strings I left with lots of confusions.
  4. 1) what should be configuration to achieve high read/write speed ? please suggest conceptual configuration..
  5. thank you to both of you .. will update as soon as cache becomes full.
  6. hi there .. sorry if below queries are already answered .. but I couldn't find proper answers anywhere.. 1) We are going to switch to 10 or 20Gbps network. is unRaid capable for such fast read/write speed.?? As per my knowledge wright speed depends on cache speed and read speed depend on data drive ( hdd or ssd ) speed.. is this information correct ? or there is a way to achieve very fast read/write speed. ?? 2) As mover runs, does is copy data or Move data .. if it copy data then it may possible to read the same data from cache .. otherwise it need to access it through data drive.
  7. On trial version of unRaid 6.9.2 .. we installed 4 numbers of 10TB Seagate Exos drives ( 1 parity drive + 3 data drive ) and one Samsung 1TB 970 Pro as cache. in Windows network drive it shows size as 931GB ( 1 TB / TiB ) instead of 30 TB / TiB .. What is going wrong.?
  8. is there any tool available that can give all hdd's SMART reports on email. possibly, I may miss something .. but this is very basic and very important part for storage server and I can't find this in unRaid. pls help
