  1. Hi @isaw, Thanks for your reply. What `key` are you talking about? I feel like I'm missing some detail here. About the `no such file or directory`, it seems like a permission problem, but there were no changes on permission on either side. I'm using the `root` account to sync, which should have access to it all, right? I'll try to do a manual sync... Maybe Synology is acting weird, right? Thanks!!!
  2. Hi, I'm trying to setup RSync to work with Synology backup. 3. The crashing is solved now. It was either: Updating to the latest BIOS Removing RAM overclocking Anyways, still have to figure out how to make it silk smooth. Thanks!!!
  4. To be honest, I didn't go through the FAQ, I searched the forum for my problems and watched hours of @SpaceInvaderOne videos.... But I will look at the FAQ today. Just to add, I was using the VM to work today and it was going fine, until I entered a meeting and it crashed both the VM and UnRaid. It looks like video playing is the problem. Also, checked event viewer logs on Windows and there's nothing there. By the way, since I have your attention, it should be totally possible to run VMs without a video card, right? VNC should support it, correct? Another thing to add is that I'm using 2 4K monitors but RDP is set to 1440. Here are my logs for the VM: ErrorWarningSystemArrayLogin -uuid 4fbd892d-4da6-5266-b9a4-54c6d721e1cc \ -no-user-config \ -nodefaults \ -chardev socket,id=charmonitor,fd=31,server,nowait \ -mon chardev=charmonitor,id=monitor, mode=control \ -rtc base=localtime \ -no-hpet \ -no-shutdown \ -boot strict=on \ -device ich9-usb-ehci1,id=usb,bus=pci.0,addr=0x7.0x7 \ -device ich9-usb-uhci1,masterbus=usb.0,firstport=0,bus=pci.0,multifunction=on,addr=0x7 \ -device ich9-usb-uhci2,masterbus=usb.0,firstport=2,bus=pci.0,addr=0x7.0x1 \ -device ich9-usb-uhci3,masterbus=usb.0,firstport=4,bus=pci.0,addr=0x7.0x2 \ -device virtio-serial-pci,id=virtio-serial0,bus=pci.0,addr=0x4 \ -blockdev '{"driver":"file","filename":"/mnt/user/domains/FlinksPC/vdisk1.img","node-name":"libvirt-3-storage","cache":{"direct":false,"no-flush":false},"auto-read-only":true,"discard":"unmap"}' \ -blockdev '{"node-name":"libvirt-3-format","read-only":false,"cache":{"direct":false,"no-flush":false},"driver":"raw","file":"libvirt-3-storage"}' \ -device virtio-blk-pci,bus=pci.0,addr=0x5,drive=libvirt-3-format,id=virtio-disk2,bootindex=1,write-cache=on \ -blockdev '{"driver":"file","filename":"/mnt/user/isos/Windows.iso","node-name":"libvirt-2-storage","auto-read-only":true,"discard":"unmap"}' \ -blockdev '{"node-name":"libvirt-2-format","read-only":true,"driver":"raw","file":"libvirt-2-storage"}' \ -device ide-cd,bus=ide.0,unit=0,drive=libvirt-2-format,id=ide0-0-0,bootindex=2 \ -blockdev '{"driver":"file","filename":"/mnt/user/isos/virtio-win-0.1.173-2.iso","node-name":"libvirt-1-storage","auto-read-only":true,"discard":"unmap"}' \ -blockdev '{"node-name":"libvirt-1-format","read-only":true,"driver":"raw","file":"libvirt-1-storage"}' \ -device ide-cd,bus=ide.0,unit=1,drive=libvirt-1-format,id=ide0-0-1 \ -netdev tap,fd=33,id=hostnet0 \ -device virtio-net,netdev=hostnet0,id=net0,mac=52:54:00:cb:f7:60,bus=pci.0,addr=0x3 \ -chardev pty,id=charserial0 \ -device isa-serial,chardev=charserial0,id=serial0 \ -chardev socket,id=charchannel0,fd=34,server,nowait \ -device virtserialport,bus=virtio-serial0.0,nr=1,chardev=charchannel0,id=channel0,name=org.qemu.guest_agent.0 \ -device usb-tablet,id=input0,bus=usb.0,port=1 \ -vnc 0.0.0.0:0,websocket=5700 \ -k en-us \ -device qxl-vga,id=video0,ram_size=67108864,vram_size=67108864,vram64_size_mb=0,vgamem_mb=16,max_outputs=1,bus=pci.0,addr=0x2 \ -device virtio-balloon-pci,id=balloon0,bus=pci.0,addr=0x6 \ -sandbox on,obsolete=deny, elevateprivileges=deny, spawn=deny, resourcecontrol=deny \ -msg timestamp=on 2021-09-02 14:06:37.003+0000: Domain id=1 is tainted: high-privileges 2021-09-02 14:06:37.003+0000: Domain id=1 is tainted: host-cpu char device redirected to /dev/pts/1 (label charserial0) 2021-09-02T14:06:59.093937Z qemu-system-x86_64: warning: guest updated active QH Thanks! guerraunraid-diagnostics-20210902-1120.zip
  5. More info: I tested 3 different computers. 2 Window machines got the same issue described above. The MAC machine worked almost perfectly (no crashes and almost no lagging). Tried several different VNCs on Windows and they all got the same result. Another thing I noticed is that sometimes only the remote connection crashes. When it reconnects (in 5 or 10 seconds) it goes back to the login screen and everything is still running. Also, that usually happens when I'm running multiple things at the same time.
  6. Hi, I recently built a new PC and installed UnRaid. I'm having a really hard time making it work properly even though I researched the forum extensively. Windows run fine on bare metal but tried to install VMWare and although it didn't crash, I got the same laggy experience. Here is my hardware info: Ryzen 9 5950x MSI B550 A-PRO Gigabyte GeForce GT 730 G.Skill 2x32GB DDR-4 3600 (overclocked from 3200 to 3600 to match RAM speed) NVME SN850 2x WD Red 4TB Because I had issues with VMWare too, I'm under the impression something on my hardware is causing issues. Here are the problems I'm facing: Windows 10 VM crashing when playing videos Windows 10 VM very laggy Windows 10 VM rebooting sometimes UnRaid crashing sometimes when VM crashes I'm running no docker container and pretty much no plugins (except the ones I end up adding for debugging). Also, not much on the logs as well (can post here if needed) Because this is meant to be a workstation for development, I have no need to pass-through anything. Here is my VM config: <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?> <domain type='kvm' id='1'> <name>FlinksPC</name> <uuid>4fbd892d-4da6-5266-b9a4-54c6d721e1cc</uuid> <description>Flinks
