  1. 2. So, I have logged into my server to check on a few things and I noticed my var/log is full. I really don't know how to read this log. So I was hoping some one could look at it and tell me why my var/log is full. Also, maybe teach me or give me some pointers on how to read it in the future. Thank you! unraid-diagnostics-20250227-1439.zip
  3. Let me look and see what is being written to it, thank you.

  5. Not really sure what Info I need to add for this, but I am going to try and give as much info as I can, listed below. I have 23 drives, 2 of which are parity drives. I recently added 8 8TB Toshiba drives. I have noticed that my performance of the unRaid box is starting to suffer. I have a parity check running and it is running at 2.2 to 10 MB/sec when it used to run at 150 MB/sec. Is there a way I can find out if it is a drive or hardware or is this just my new norm. Also If I need to provide any logs please ask, I am not sure what to attach if anything. Thank you for any help. Motherboard: ASRock Z690 Pro RS Processor: 12th Gen i7-12700KF Ram: 128GB Raid Card: Broadcom / LSI SAS2008 PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS-2 [Falcon] (rev 03) Disk Shelf: EMC KTN-STL3 15-Bay 3.5" 6GB/s Drives : 23 Assorted (WD, Seagate, Toshiba) All 8TB's.
  6. Thank you sir. I will set this up and make a new post when I get the data!
  7. Okay, so I just need to setup a graylog or some type of syslog docker? If so do you have a suggestion for the best docker?
  8. This is what you are looking for correct? unraid-syslog-20220921-1317.zip
  9. So, my UNRAID was a new build, has been running flawless for a while now. I haven't had any issues but it just started to become unresponsive lately. The only option is to hit the restart button. I can't ping get video if I plug in a monitor or anything. I was looking in the logs ( at least I think ) but I don't see anything that stands out to why it keeps locking up. This has happened again today, and I decided I would ask the forum for some help. I thought that maybe it was overheating b/c I hadn't cleaned the filters in a while. Cleaned them and the inside of the server looks clean and good. I cleaned it out regardless. Then a co-worker said I need to check my cache it might be full and I ran a balance, since my cache runs across two drives. I attached my diagnostics and will attach anything else I need to. I am open to suggestions to figure out why it keeps locking up. Thanks, AC unraid-diagnostics-20220920-1421.zip
  10. Thank you, I did that ( or at least I think I did it correctly ). I was just looking for a work around.
  11. I have a USB nic that I have confirmed to work, and have the Linux drivers for. Is there a way to add the driver to unRIAD? is there a folder to put it in on the USB? Is there a command I can run in the console to install the driver? Thanks!
  12. Please add the driver for ASUSTek Computer, Inc. USB 10/100/1G/2.5G LAN, I feel like this might benefit many people. Thank you! This is the driver, from ASUS. DR_USB_C2500.zip
  13. JorgeB, thank you so much for your help. How do I go about making a feature request.... I did a little googling and it just brings be back to the forum. Do I just post a new thread asking for the driver to be added? Again I really do appreciate your help!

  15. JorgeB thank you for the response. I have downloaded the diagnostics. What part of this diagnostics log would have that information?
  16. I recently bought a USB ASUSTek Computer, Inc. 10/100/1G/2.5G LAN 3.0 Network adapter. I don't want to pass it through to a VM or or Docker. I want it to be a dedicated network between my unraid box and another server I have, but still have unraid on my primary network. So dual networks, my primary network adapter would be 192.168.1.100 and the USB NIC would be 10.10.10.1 . The issue i am having is that when I hook the USB NIC up, unraid doesn't list it under Network Settings. But if I look under System devices is see the USB NIC. I have attached screenshots. I have a feeling that the issue is going to be that unraid doesn't have the driver. Any thoughts? ( Also, I am still new to unraid so please be patient with me. ) Thanks for any help.
