  1. Hi, my windows pc has AQC107 10g nic which is directly connected to my unraid server with a X550-t2 nic. When I was on 6.10 RC1, I can enable SMB Multichannel between the two machine by adding lines to smb-extra.conf: #unassigned_devices_start #Unassigned devices share includes include = /tmp/unassigned.devices/smb-settings.conf #unassigned_devices_end server multi channel support = yes aio read size = 1 aio write size = 1 interfaces = "10.120.0.2;capability=RSS,speed=10000000000" On RC1 with SMB Multichannel enabled, I can hit 600-800MB/s transfer speed to user share folder. However after upgraded to RC2, transfer speed dropped to 200-300MB/s. I checked on Windows side with Get-SmbMultichannelConnection conmand and it shows RSS Capable is false (which was true on RC1). Server Name Selected Client IP Server IP Client Interface Index Server Interface Index Client RSS Capable Client RDMA Capable ----------- -------- --------- --------- ---------------------- ---------------------- ------------------ ------------------- 10.120.0.2 True 10.120.0.1 10.120.0.2 12 13 False False I know RC2 is the version that start to support SMB Multichannel, but it seems worse than RC1 in my setup?Does someone have same issue or maybe I have incorrect settings? I also tried removing those extras lines from smb-extra.conf it dosen't work neither.
  2. Same here 11500 with 6.10 and LSIO plex container. Good thing is I can direct play most things and also 11500 is powerful enough to do software transcode. I will stick with 6.10RC and hopfully will see the fix soon.
  3. I gave it a try and it works! I'd say we are good for now, it may take a while until linux patch this driver issue. Thank you so much!
  4. Yeah! I was trying to figure out how to filter such logs and this works perfectly! Thank you so much SimonF and ich777!
  5. I experience same issue on my unraid server 6.10 rc1 OS, with x550-t2 nic and TL-Sh1008 switch. And here is another report with unraid 6.92 os: Manually setting link speed to 2500 do solve this issue. However if I add that ethtool cmd to go file and restart the server, I will need manualy unplug and then replug 2.5g ethernet cable or it won't connect neither. Update on this: I was wrong about unplug and replug. I was playing with multiple NICs and during the test my ethernet interfaces are not consistent which lead me to a wrong conclusion. Later I figured I don't need to bring the interface up and down, it will auto-negotiate in the right way.
  6. Hi, First of all, thank you for providing such a great tool! I successfully setted up an image target with this plugin and got my windows initiator conneted and run! However unraid server side syslog keep spaming this message every 3secs once connected: xxx kernel: iSCSI/iqn.1991-05.com.microsoft:xxx: Unsupported SCSI Opcode 0xa1, sending CHECK_CONDITION. I did some research and find out this seems harmless but just a windows thing, but it's anoying and fiiling up my syslog fast. Is there anything I can do?
