  1. Thanks a lot, I've tried this switching to ipvlan and it seems to be working consistently now. As for the persistant syslog, I was finally able to get it to work (forgot to input the server address as remote server).
  2. It happened again today, I had a look at the logs, but still can't tell what's causing this. The faulty sequence seems to have happened around NOV 14 07:26:45 in the logs. Would appreciate any feedback. For now my temporary fix is a user script that properly reboot the server every 4 hours (As I'm away from home quite often and can't afford server being down until I can manually reboot). millesime-syslog-20231114-1528.zip
  3. Hello I've been facing this issue since my last unraid update (==> 6.12.4), every 6 hours or so, my unraid server will become unreachable with no other option that hard reboot to get it back online. I've looked into the syslog, I see errors related to the network bounding, but my networking understanding can't help me there. Does anyone have faced the same issues and can someone have a look at the attached diag just in case I'm missing something ? (My interface set up is : 2 mobo NIC, an Asus 10 Gbs NIC, all bounded with the 10gbs as main interface and one of the mobos as active backup). Thanks a lot in advance for your help ! millesime-diagnostics-20231112-1422.zip
  4. Hello everyone one, After spending too much time trying to get transmission to work in a docker (problem was i had no access to the ui) I decided to run it off a VM. Got it working and downloading fine. Having Radarr/Sonarr/Lidarr running in containers on unraid server, the problem I have is that the *ARR cant move the downloaded files to the media library. The directory setup : - *ARR are running via docker on unraid (10.10.10.10) and the media library is passed via docker (/mnt/user0/media/Movies ==> /Movies & /mnt/user0/media/download/ ==> /downloads) - Transmission runs inside a VM (10.10.10.11) with the share (/mnt/user0/media/download) mounted on it as /mnt/downloads (downloads works just fine). - I have a port mapping set in radarr as following : After succesfully sending downloads to transmission I can't get radarr (or any of the *ARR) to move the files to their final destination. The error I get is : Couldn't import movie /downloads/movie.mkv: Access to the path '/downloads/movie.mkv' is denied I'm lost with the permissions I should set to the /mnt/downloads inside my vm in order to get radarr to be able to access the file. Any help would be very welcome and sorry in advance for the long post.

  6. Hey everyone, I've recently received all my setup for my Unraid server including a 9211-8i card I'm trying to flash. To do so, I must be able to boot in Freedos using legacy boot. For some reason my motherboard won't let me turn on CSM mode (when I change the setting it will reboot on an empty screen and then reboot with the message that BIOS mode have been reverted to UEFI because no VBIOS have been found) Is it possible that the reason is that I'm using onboard graphics instead of a dedicated GPU ? Also if someone have encontered the same issue and is willing to help please do !
  7. Hey mate, thanks for the quick answer. After renaming the EFI folder, got it working just fine. didn't catch this point on the doc :/. Thanks for the tip.
  8. Hello gents, I'm coming to you for help. I finally pulled the trigger for an Unraid build ! After assembling the machine, checking that all peripherals work on the UEFI and activation virtualization capabilities, I still can't get UNRAID USB stick to boot. Does anyone have some experience with booting Unraid on a sytem based on the MSI mag z590 torpedo and could hint me with any particular BIOS setup ? Thanks a lot in advance !
  9. Thanks for the link, will read it and try to find one from this list !
  10. Thanks for the GPU notice I might have one from an old build laying around ! As for Why I was counting two, it's for backup and expandability purpose !
  11. Thanks for your answer @Vr2Io, for the remote access side of things, I think i've found a plugin (my server) which can handle that ! If someone have recommendation for the Hardware part, please comment (planning to pull the trigger by the end of the month).
  12. Hi everyone, I'm kinda just need some hardware check from the experienced users here around. Situation : I'm actually using a standard 2 bay Qnap system for storing mostly multimedia content and hosting a Plex server. I also have a raspberry pi hosting some Radarr/Sonarr activity. The qnap config is a simple 2x8TB HDD (WD red) in RAID 1 giving me an 8TB volume which is almost full, I thought of upgrading to a larger Qnap system, but after some reading and giving that I have mostly Movies and series stored, the Raid redundancy is not an important need for me and would gladly sacrifice redundancy for more Raw storage. Goals: To do so, I thought of building an Unraid server to host a couple (two for now) of Debian (with no GUI) server and have an array of five disks (4x8TB and 1x 10TB for parity ?!). I also need to be able to access files outside of my LAN and have friend connecting to it with their own account to store and retrieve files (docs and photos). Questions : - To my understanding this could give me 32 Tb available volume with one disk failure resulting in losing no data ? - Attached is the hardware config I'm planning on getting, would you have any replacement/add suggestion to fulfill my use case ? - Can I configure the volume only with three disk and copy my Data's from existing NAS before adding the two remaining drives ? - What's are the standard service to be able to access files from a web GUi and have user management enabled ? Planned config : - CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3700X + Noctua NH-U9S (choosen for virtualisation capacity) - MB : MSI MPG B550 GAMING PLUS (globaly fueature set) - RAM : Kingston FURY Beast - SSD : Samsung 860 EVO 1TB (for caching mainly, overkill ?) - Expansion card : Delock Contrôleur SATA PCI-Ex4 - 5x SATA3 interne - PSU : Corsair RM850 *2019* RM850 - Case : Corsair Carbide 678C - Also, my LAN is 10GBs capable, would it be worth to add a 10Gbs NIC ? - Disks : Seagate IronWolf 10TB x1 & Seagate IronWolf 8TB x2 (WD red 8TB x2 taht I already own) I do realise there's a ton of posts like this existing, but thought some of your comment would be relevant to my particular use case so sorry in advance
