  1. FYI this was resolved by installing a Dell UCS-70 HBA as a replacement for the NetApp PMC8003. All disks immediately showed up in the console and I've been configuring them as expected.
  2. Thanks for following up so quickly @ChatNoir, the NetApp disk sector sizes are currently 512 as they were previously configured and running well under FreeNAS. You should see under Step 6 of the linked topic there is a command to run 'sg_scan -i', although my CLI hangs at that point while scanning for disks.
  3. Hi everyone, I'm trying out UnRaid as I move from FreeNAS for the first time on my Dell R620 with a NetApp DS2246 shelf connected with a NetApp PMC8003. I've tried multiple versions of UnRaid (from 6.8.3 -> 6.10.0-rc1 with versions of the NetApp PM80xx driver from 0.1.39 -> 0.1.40), but any interaction with the disks seems to hang the console (including sg_scan, fdisk --list, lsblk, etc). I had a suspicion that one of the disks may be failed, so I've removed all except one working disk from the shelf, although even with that I'm experiencing the same issues: root@Tower:~# sg_scan /dev/sg0: scsi0 channel=0 id=0 lun=0 [em] /dev/sg1: scsi2 channel=0 id=0 lun=0 [em] /dev/sg2: scsi3 channel=0 id=0 lun=0 [em] /dev/sg3: scsi5 channel=0 id=0 lun=0 [em] /dev/sg4: scsi6 channel=0 id=0 lun=0 [em] ^C^C^C^C^C^C^C I can see a few errors in the logs, but I can't find anything online with anything similar to this. kernel: ata3: SATA link down (SStatus 1 SControl 300) kernel: ata3: SATA link down (SStatus 1 SControl 300) kernel: ata3: SATA link down (SStatus 1 SControl 300) pm80xx1:: pm8001_exec_internal_task_abort 839:TMF task timeout. kernel: pm80xx1:: pm8001_abort_task 1328:rc= -5 kernel: sas: sas_scsi_find_task: querying task 0x000000000a9212ad kernel: ata3: SATA link down (SStatus 1 SControl 300) kernel: ata3: SATA link down (SStatus 1 SControl 300) kernel: ata3: SATA link down (SStatus 1 SControl 300) kernel: ata3: SATA link down (SStatus 1 SControl 300) kernel: pm80xx1:: pm8001_exec_internal_tmf_task 753:TMF task[80]timeout. kernel: pm80xx: rc= -5 kernel: sas: sas_scsi_find_task: aborting task 0x000000000a9212ad At this point I'm considering spending the $70 on the QSFP to Mini SAS cable and purchasing an LSI card to eliminate any issues with the PMC8003 (which I've also seen on ESXi where it purple screens on boot). FreeNAS seems to be the only system that likes this current setup. I've attached the UnRaid diagnostics zip, if anyone can help out or point me in another I would appreciate it. tower-diagnostics-20210927-1203.zip
