  1. Constraints: Must be Rack Mountable. 25" Depth limitation with power cables connected Rack height not a concern, so 4U is fine Must accommodate no less than 10 drives. Must be Hot Swap Trayless Preferred What it will do: Storage repository for my video files. VM Ubuntu 20.04 LAMP server (My wordpress websites, etc.) VM Windows Pro Workstation (Onyx DMX Lighting Control) VM Home Assistant (Home Automation) Leave the spinning disks out of the budget equation and dump the 2K into the core of the system (MB, CPU, Memory, NVMe SSD drive, video, cooling, etc.) I'm not a gamer and I use my Mac for video production, so I don't need juicy graphics, but I would like to be able to utilize sound output from a VM (which I've never done before.) I was looking at this as a starting point: https://www.neweggbusiness.com/product/product.aspx?item=9b-11-165-240&isfeedbacktab=true
  2. So, moving the USB stick to a new system could cause potential problems because of hardware differences?
  3. The trial went well and I set some things up that need to move forward with my final setup. The final setup is actually going to be a completely new box. Should I build the box before I license Unraid, or can I license Unraid on this "temporary" box and move everything to the new box later?
  4. Hmm... So, I have two users. Root and my user account. I'm in the habit of not using the root account unless absolutely necessary. Either way, both have a password set. From a terminal in OSX, I type: ssh-copy-id user@tower and I'm prompted with the familiar response, but neither user's password works when I attempt to login as that user. What am I missing?
