Hallo liebes Forum, ich bin langsam am Verzweifeln. Und zwar mochte ich gerne eine tdarr node die auf meinem Unraid Server läuft, mit einem vorhandenen tdarr server welcher unter Windows läuft verbinden. Doch leider bekomme ich immer Fehlermeldungen. Hallo und einen schönen guten Abend in die Runde, leider habe ich zu meinem Problem / Lösungsversuch weder was im Deutschen noch im Englischen Forum etwas dazu gefunden. Und zwar wollte ich gerne die Speicherverteilung meiner Festplatten im Array gleichmäßiger verteilen. Standardmäßig füllt ja Unraid alle Festplatten bis 50 % auf, soweit so gut, doch was passiert dann? Kann ich selber weitere Stufen einbauen? Am schönsten wäre, dass sich die Festplatten bis auf 70% auffüllen (bzw. 6TB). Gibt es dafür irgendeine Einstellung, die ich übersehen habe? Vielen Dank schon mal im Voraus!

Hi, no this pool is not a ZFS Pool, it is just the remaining of some testing I did with ZFS. I have the ZFS Plugin still installed, but it is just a normal Cache Pool with 4 drives in Raid 10. This should not pose a problem as far as I know. At least it didn't so far.

Hi, today after starting my Unraid Server I got an Unclean Shutdown Error. But I don't know why. Before that, I used the normal shutdown button on the WebGui and everything else should have been shutdown (like VMs, Docker, etc.). I even have a UPS to prevent that. You can use this card in a VM because I do. There is a little trick on how to do it, but nothing too complicated. Because it's a computing card, you need to put it in WDDM mode, but it works. All Server Hardware. I know that this constellation may not be the best for a File Server, but for around 400€ that was quite the deal. I got the Tesla K80 for 115€ from eBay that was the only Reason I bought it. I am from Germany, but I thought writing in German inside this Forum post would be counterproductive.

Then first, Happy Birthday to your son! 🎉🎊 It would be really nice if you could look in to it when you have some spare time. The K80 is a dual GPU, so it hopefully should work. Can't I use a script for User scripts to do that automaticity for me? Thanks in advance

Well, I would like to use 1 GPU for Transcoding in Docker (jellyfin, ffmpeg-nvidia, avidemux, etc.) and the other one for VM use. Is there maybe a Tutorial how to compile the Nvidia drivers?

Hi, I have a Problem with your Driver. I would like to use a Tesla K80 with Unraid and with your Plugin. But after a short look in the compatible GPU list, I found out that this GPU is not compatible. Is there a possibility to change the current Driver with an Nvidia Data Center driver Manually? Danke für den Link, aber so ganz hilft mir das leider auch nicht. Wie ich einen zpool erstelle, weiß ich, aber das Problem ist seine Verwendung. Ich möchte damit keinen SMB share oder ähnliches machen, sondern den erstellten Pool als cache für Unraid verwenden. Am besten wäre natürlich, wenn ich den erstellten Pool als Vdisk verwenden könnte.

Ich habe Unraid nun neu aufgesetzt. Habe dafür alles Manuel vorher exportiert (vdisk.img Dateien + die xml) und nun neu wieder eingefügt. Ich hätte jetzt nochmal eine andere Frage. Ich habe ja jetzt noch die 4x 1TB HDDs, die ich gerne verwenden möchte. Wollte die dafür per ZFS in einen Raidz1 zpool packen und den dann als Cache nutzen. Habe dazu aber leider noch nichts gefunden

Leider geht das nicht so einfach. Da die Platten in dem einem Server per JBOD angebunden sind und über den anderen per IT-Mode erkennt Unraid die Platten nicht als gleich. Die Platten werden aufgeführt und kann sie auch auswählen. Die Seriennummer passt auch. Aber Unraid mag das aus irgendeinen Grund nicht. Zu der Sachen mit dem Clean aufsetzen. Grundsätzlich möchte ich Unraid nochmal neu aufsetzen. Da ich bei meiner Testaufsetzung ein paar Fehler gemacht habe. Aber die VMs, die ich erstellt, habe möchte ich aber gerne mitnehmen zum Beispiel.

Hallo zusammen, ich habe Unraid seit einer Weile getestet und möchte nun Ernst machen. Meinen bisherigen Server soll in ein neues Gehäuse inklusive neuen Platten. Die Frage ist nun wie ich die Daten von A noch B bekomme und dabei am besten Unraid mehr oder weniger nochmal "Clean" aufsetze. Zu meinem aktuellen System: Gehäuse: Supermicro SC815 Mainboard: Supermicro X9DR3-F Ram: 128GB DDR-3 ECC (alle slots belegt) CPU: 2x Xeon E5-2630 Festplatten: 4x WD Enterprise 1TB Original war ein 3ware 9750-4i Raid Controller verbaut der aber nur Raid Modi unterstützt, also habe ich den onboard SAS Controller vom Mainboard genommen. Alle Festplatten sind somit als JBOD angebunden und mit Unraid verknüpft. Das neue System: Gehäuse: Supermicro SC846 (mit SAS Expander) + Silent Mod Mainboard, RAM und CPU sollen vom alten System übernommen werden Festplatten: 5x WD 8 TB Festplatten + die 4 vom alten Server Original war in dem Gehäuse eine Adaptec ASR-5404 RAID Controller Karte verbaut (JBOD only), also habe ich mir noch eine Fujitsu RAID Controller D2607 bestellt, welche ich in den IT-Mode gesetzt habe. Nun zum gesagten Problem, ich habe leider nicht die leiseste Ahnung wie ich das System nun von A nach B kriege. Auf den 2 von den 5 8-TB Festplatten sind schon ca. 14 TB an daten drauf, aber es fehlen noch die VM's, Docker, Plugins und was eventuell noch dazu kommt. Habt ihr eventuell eine Ahnung was ich da am besten machen kann? LG

br0 works now. Just braking your network so that you can not access Unraid via WebGui. Go to your Server, use your root Terminal, delete the network configs and reboot. Now it is working. 😅👍

I removed and redownloaded it again. Now the Win 10 installation works, but after I restarted the server I only get a virbr0 Network Interface and no br0.

I also tried the 189 version. Same result. I will remove them and try again.

By the way, when I am trying to install the community plugins, I get a Network Error. Maybe also because Facebook and all their Services are down?

Hello, I tried my best to install a Windows 10 VM for the first time and failed several times. I used this tutorial inclusive the Video and some others but nothing worked. Win 10 installer started without a problem, but I am unable to select a drive / load the virtio drivers from drive E: Here is my setup, I deleted everything and tried starting from scratch. Hopefully someone can help me. After this setup I started the VM. Now I'm in the VM via VNC Now I go to "Treiber laden" - load drivers After I press "OK" I go to "Durchsuchen" There is the E: Drive which should be the virtio drive, but there is nothing. Mabey, it is just a stupid mistake. Hopefully someone can help me.
