  1. The command tells me, that the cores are set to "ondemand" by default, which should at higher loads boost the cpu to its maximum clock. Am i right?
  2. Thank you for your advise! I installed the plugin and inserted your script. It indeed sets the cores to performance if a vm is running. Prior to that, the cores where set to "ondemand". But "ondemand" and "performance" should both max out the fequency, but that is not happening. Taskmanager displays the baseclock in any state the cores are in, and the gamingperformance stays the same... Am i doing something wrong?
  3. Hello there! I have build my first serious unraid system with a ryzen 5 chip and a nvidia graphicscard. The array works as it should, my dockers are running well and my gaming vm works good, exept for the actual gaming part of it. In many games it feels like, as if my cpu cant keep it up. My mouse is lagging realy bad and the whole world is stuttering around me. Strangely my cpu usage in Taskmanager is from 70-90%, and it stays at its baseclock of 3,6 GHz. htop in the unraid console and the netdatadocker confirming the % part. Im trying every trick i find in the web, like pinning the cpus and direkting the emulator pins away from my vm, but nothing worked so far. It would be great to hear from you guys. I added my diagnostics file. tower-diagnostics-20211014-2347.zip
  4. ACS Override to 'both' did it for me. Thank you so much!!!!!
  5. So i edited the xml once more to insert 21:00.3 as the previous ones, but no luck with that.. After that i created the diagnostics file you find attached. Thank you for the support! tower-diagnostics-20211013-1557.zip
  6. Tank you for the fast reply! Sadly, the same error still occures. I edited the xml to look like this: ... <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x21' slot='0x00' function='0x0'/> </source> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x05' function='0x0' multifunction='on'/> </hostdev> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x21' slot='0x00' function='0x1'/> </source> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x05' function='0x1'/> </hostdev> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x21' slot='0x00' function='0x2'/> </source> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x05' function='0x2'/> </hostdev> ... I followed spaceinvaders guide, but i did the third device on my own, as spaceinvader only show how to do it for gpu and sound. Is that the right direction?
  7. Hello My System is running great on Unraid as i have experimented with it for quite a while now. The problem i encounter is, that i cant start a vm with my graphic card attached to it. I have a second gpu in my first slot and it is displaying the linux command line as expected. I dont plan to let the system run headless, so this is one less thing to considere. The VM starts without problems if i use VNC. I installed the drivers and everything works fine, but when i start it with the gpu attached, the error Please ensure all devices within the iommu_group are bound to their vfio bus driver. occues. Every attempt to fix it changed absolutely nothing. This is the xml of my vm: <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?> <domain type='kvm'> <name>Windows 10</name> <uuid>d5fa22cd-b79b-33a9-ff6f-27f9ce6e62d4</uuid> <metadata> <vmtemplate xmlns="unraid" Many other Posts on this forum helped me a lot, lets see, if we can crack this one :)
