SSH periodically requiring re-confirmation
I have two Unraid servers (1 Primary & 1 Offsite Backup) connected by Wireguard. With a script utilizing the User Scripts plugin, I run backups from Primary to Offsite via ssh. Every once and a while, the backups fail. Each time I get a failure notice, when I run a script command from terminal, ssh asks me to confirm "Are you sure you want to continue connecting." Once I confirm by typing "yes" the backup script works without a problem. I cannot figure out why ssh is asking for reconfirmation and how I get around this. Thoughts?

Mover not moving
So I went to the Unraid main dashboard and clicked on the "View" icon for my cache drive. Keep in mind, this is the cache drive that is keeping between 300 and 400 GB on it regularly. After some digging I realized that it is the "transcoding-temp" file for Emby server that is taking up all of the space and living on cache drive. Now I just need to do a little extra research to see if I can move it to one of the shares instead. Posting what I found here so that others who may run into this issue will find out.

Mover not moving
That, my friend, is very well said. I think I follow you pretty well. So there are no mover errors. It is just that I have a "conflict" with the mover script and some process(es) that have the files locked down, thus the files cannot be moved. In light of this line of thought, I shut down a torrent I had seeding and changed a "TV" share that I have (which contains recorded TV) from cache "yes" to cache "no." These are the only processes of which I could think that would be locking down files. On another note, would the mover logs clarify for me which files a locked down? I have logging enabled on mover. Where are those log files stored?

Thank you for help. I really mean that. I am new to Uraid and I want to know how it works. Where did you look in the diagnostics to see that? I want to be able to self-diagnose these things in the future, if needed. You know, "Teach me how to fish and you'll feed me for a lifetime." 😁

Mover not moving
I removed the mover tuning plugin and have run mover 5 times. I have a 500GB ssd for cache. I initially had over 300GB on the cache drive. Mover will not bring the drive to less than 262GB. It moves some of the files to the array but not that part. What is going on? Here is another diagnostic download. server-diagnostics-20211107-2000.zip

Mover not moving
Funny. I actually installed the mover tuning plugin attempting to solve the problem. I will uninstall it and see what happens.

Sorry it took me so long to get those diagnostics uploaded. See attached. server-diagnostics-20211106-1651.zip

Mover not moving
So I have posted my server diagnostics but I am new to Unraid and unsure how to determine why more than 250GB of data continues to sit on my cache drive each day. Could someone help me know what is keeping the files on cache and not moving them to the array? I click the "Move" button but it seems to make little difference. I don't just want to "fix the problem" but want to understand the root of the issue so that I can get to the bottom of it. Thanks ahead of time.

Can you please clarify? In the diagnostic files that I attached here, how are you seeing that duplicate files or open files are the problem? In addition, shouldn't mover just skip the duplicates and just go on to other files. I cannot see how I have 300+ GB of duplicate files. Mover doesn't appear to be moving any files. I want to be able to remedy the problem.

Mover not moving
I cannot tell but am I in the same situation? I have a 500GB ssd that is just filling up and mover is not moving the files. When I click the "Move" button it goes gray but if I refresh the page it is as if nothing happened. Attached is the syslog. I am new to Unraid so I am getting use to it. It looks to me like mover is trying to transfer some particular files and failing, so it just keeps looping on them. Does someone with a little more insight have some thoughts? syslog.txt
