  1. Well... it's weird. If I look at the history on the website it still says backordered. But they shipped me my movie certificates and sent me a shipping notice (but no tracking info) for my UPSes.
  2. I'll cut $5 off each and do $160 shipped for both to the lower 48.
  3. Sorry let me clarify... on the enclosures that is per enclosure I will cut a deal if you buy both.
  4. I ended up getting a Norco case and going that direction so I have the following: 2 x SUPERMICRO CSE-M35T-1B Black 5 Bay Hot-Swapable SATA HDD Enclosure - Used for a little over 1 month, stock units. $85 shipped. 1 x SUPERMICRO AOC-SAT2-MV8 64-bit PCI-X133MHz SATA Controller Card - New in box. $90 shipped PM me or email me at [email protected]. If you think my prices are nuts tell me
  5. Thanks. Do I have to shut down the array to issue the write cache command?
  6. I am so confused I have 4 of them in my array, and in fact just ran a parity check. Am I screwed? Dec 4 16:33:59 Tower kernel: md: sync done. time=30247sec rate=64585K/sec Dec 4 16:33:59 Tower kernel: md: recovery thread sync completion status: 0
  7. In case you missed the deal Friday, it's back. Still limit 2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148413&Tpk=N82E16822148413
  8. Well, looks like the deal ended last night . Ah well good thing I checked.
  9. I'm headed to Target today since mine supposedly still has some in stock. How can you tell which is which from the box? Or is it only when you open it (the box, not the actual unit) that you get a clue?
  10. I have 4 in my unRaid server. My suspicion is that it makes my parity slower than it might be otherwise, but I have a 7200RPM cache drive that I use for all my writes and I don't notice any issues there.
  11. Ok, figured it out... I was trying to order 2 and it wouldn't give me the button to backorder. When I did them indiviually it did. I also scored the movie cash offer they talked about in the SD thread
  12. And of course I just ordered this damn thing full price on Newegg yesterday
  13. Stunning move... they just took the WHS home market out to the wood shed and put a bullet in it. I hope all those OEMs were worth it.
  14. I rip everything to a complete ISO so I can always fully restore to media if I want, but I admit that is my preference. So many media streamers can't play a full BD menu which stinks.
  15. Well, bought 2. I am getting close to maxxing my new 4224 build. Soon I'll have to start swapping 1TB and 1.5TB for 2TB
  16. What depth do you need for the 4224... haven't measured mine yet. I assume 26"
  17. Thanks, the thread was helpful. I think I'm going to go with the top model unless someone tells me it won't work with the unRaid UPS code.
  18. I really want to get a UPS now that I'm up in the big boy league with my 4224 . I'm running a Corsair 650w PSU, so my rudimentary math skills tell me I need at least a 650w UPS. So many of them cost $500+, but then I get to this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16842101067&cm_re=APC_UPS-_-42-101-067-_-Product $200 isn't cheap by any means, but it seems to have more than enough juice. Or this one which is slightly cheaper: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16842101392&cm_re=APC_UPS-_-42-101-392-_-Product Will either of these do the job? I just don't want to buy something that won't shut me down safely.
  19. I'd like to know the same... I guess ideally I'd get one of those racks that would let me stack in all my gear
  20. Puts the zbox at $225 shipped... still not what I was hoping for
  21. What time do you think it will start?
