Hello, I'm trying to VPN into my unraid server with the wireguard application, for some reason when I'm at my friends house it doesn't work at all, I'm assuming it has to do with both of us having 192.168.x.x networks however it works from any other network that isn't a 192.168.x.x how can I fix this?

Got you, i shall look into both options, yea im just trying to retire these other drives if i can since they are older and bound to fail soon i imagine, just want to make sure i dont lose my data is all

Is there a certain one? or is it just called file manager plugin?, im trying to just move all the files to one drive if possible so i can get rid of the other drives

I recently got 20TB and i wish to make one a parity and the other just a regular drive within the array, the issue is i already have an array and have no idea how i would go about moving all the data from the current drives into the new ones without ruining the data. Any advice/tuts would be helpful thank you!

So i recently got my hands on a poweredge r720 and want to convert my old tower pc server into this poweredge, it has a mini H310 raid controller, i have flashed it to IT mode but i cant seem to load up unraid at all, i havent moved anything over just in case i do it wrong i rather attempt to load unraid first before putting all the drives in, am i doing something wrong/missing something.. Also i would like to move the shares over to new drives(if you have advice on how to do this/can help that would be appreciated) UPDATE: SOLVED, TRIED TO DELETE POST DIDNT SEEM TO WORK XD

So your saying just copy over the Basic.key and it should be fine? as in all my shares/data on the drives would be good and not deleted? as for the apps/plugins all were from CA as far as i know, see picture for reference.

I don't believe i have a backup(stupid me), i can get into the drive completely but as i stated when i attempt to copy the whole config folder over it always stops working when it tries to copy "unraid-api.tgz", im compeletly okay with having to re add my plugins etc if need be on a new usb/the same one but i just dont want to have to re buy an unraid key again, if i just need to copy the key file over for it to work im happy with that, ideally id like to just copy it all but it doesnt seem to allow me too.

As the title suggests my server has been running for a while now, but last night i had a power outage and now it gets stuck on the "unable to mount root fs", ive been looking around on what the issue might be/how to fix it but nothing has seem to come up. I have seen making a new usb and copying over the config, but everytime ive tried it hangs on copying "unraid-api.tgz", if there are any solutions any help would be apprciated!
