I was in such a hurry to try it - I never formatted the drive, now the shares are there. Sorry for wasting time.

Here is the diagnostics. I created 2 Parity drives which node804-diagnostics-20230520-2027.zipare building.. and only 1 drive, maybe I didn't format the single data drive.

Not really sure where to put this but I wanted to try out 6.12r6 on a new PC so I set up the a new system and noticed that the shares are totally blank (so VM and docker can't start) without appdata. Tried to create appdata share but when clicking apply/done it does not save and returns back a blank page. Not sure if I ran into something but just wanted to share this information. Never had this issue when installing a new system.

Think I got it figured out. Once it got the error (above) I clicked on a new menu option on the client (Continue) and it's backing up the rest now. Not sure why it matters but the PC has 2 drives and the machine boot is actually from the 2nd drive and I think it's getting confused. But the big mystery is why changing log from warn to debug made the client wake up (it was red initially and now it's yellow) I restarted the urbackup 50 times in troubleshooting lol.

Once I did the debug, the red client turned yellow and it shows it started but I am still stuck with the following:

Where do i change the log level to debug, that is a message I keep seeing but I can't find that option on the server?

I need to get a little help as I been pulling my hair out to try to find the solution. I am able to connect and backup on VM's, laptop, etc (They are all on same network) but on a Windows 10 desktop (my primary PC) I can't get urbackup to work. I keep getting "STARTING BACKUP FAILED" I disabled the Windows Firewall (but it's local, so it should not matter) and I would download client for windows on the bottomn of the Status screen, run the installation on the windows PC, the icon is RED (not white) of urbackup client. I went into the program files/urbackup but the debug file is blank so no information there. Please point me in the correct direction as I have tried everything I know. I been using Urbackup for about 6 months and never had any issue like this before. Thanks so much.

===RESOLVED=== IT WAS THE FREAKEN BROWSER.. I WAS USING CHROME BUT WHEN I TRIED FIREFOX IT WORKED. Does this patch break VM's?? I can't create a VM on my machine that works. I am able to run VM's that were already created without any problem.. This is a post I made in a different group. I'm frustrated and not sure what to do next because I never had a problem. Having the strangest problem trying to add a new VM on a machine I was always able to add VM's until upgrading to 6.9.15. When I try to start the newly created VM, it just shows the VNC unable to connect screen. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I tried scrubbing the libvert and rebooted but just not working. If someone can point me in the correct direction. The VM's that already existed on here work fine but i have tried on several different SSD's and even leaving it on auto but no luck. So the only solution is get a different motherboard or anything else i can do? It's been ok temp wise because i am not pushing anything and the CPU is about 42 idle (5950X)

I have a Fractal Meshify 2 XL and you can get total 16 drives in there counting M.2's and SSD's but it's heavy as heck to move. I have since reduced the number of my 14tb drives in that case to use them for another server, but the Meshify 2 XL is great if you need a ton of hard drives.

I did the patch and all good now. Super simple and it worked. Thanks very much for making the patch :):)

Yes, i will try that either later tonight or tomorrow and report back. My chipset is RTL8156B so hopefully no issues and i won't need that PCI. Thanks for the info.

UPDATE: End up ordering an Intel 225 card which seems like it will work (Now that I translated the Chinese to English I understand how to do this now) at first it didn't register Is there a network card that can be purchased on Amazon that is 2.5gb (or better but supports 2.5gb and will work) that will work with Unraid? I would get that if someone can recommend one that will because it's so hard finding something that will work. My Pluggable USB 2.5gb (Realtek) worked until I upgraded to 6.11.5 (from 6.9.2) and now I am using my motherboard ethernet but it's only 1g and I read thru the outdated hardware list for unraid but it doesn't really help anymore to select a working one. I read thru here on this thread but i don't think i am good enough on the linux side to understand how to make this work.

I tried all that stuff but it doesnt detect at all.. powered off completely and rebooted - not sure what is needed to get this working, hopefully someone has this as its a great adapter for when you dont have a 2.5gb nic on board. Not sure if this is the correct place to report this but after going from 6.9.2 to 6.11.5 one issue that popped up immediately was the loss of my network connection. I was using a Pluggable 2.5gb USB adapter and never had an issue but after upgrading, it did not work at all and does not even show up in network (I plugged eth back into the motherboard port) but i would really need to use the added speed of the 2.5gb adapter. Is there something else i need to do to get this working again>? If this is not in the right place, please move to the appropriate area and I apologize. I stopped Docker/vm and went into network settings but i dont see the adapter there anymore.

One issue i forgot to report earlier because i was more worried about getting the system back online. Actually that is what i clicked (for folder location) it just doesn't say that, but i looked and everything looked good so i started the rebuild.

Ok, i missed that but it looks like everything was there. I noticed this and might be coincidence or unrelated.. The SSD is where the VM is run from.. Is this the same type of thing or do i need to replace the SSD? Hardly used and less than 1 year old

This might be stupid question but how can i see Disk 3?? I can view from unassigned disks by clicking the disk view (that what you mean?) where it shows all the folders? If this is correct, then i will follow the rebuilding a drive onto itself. Still don't understand why this happened all of a sudden, this is scary.
