System + Appdata Settings

Hello Unraid Forum, I've recently acquired a powerful server after a long time, and I've been struggling to identify the problem. Here are the server specifications: AMD Ryzen 5800x 16 Core 32 GB DDR4 RAM at 3600Hz 1 x 2 TB SSD Disk set as Cache for Data 1 x NVMe SSD set as Cache for Appdata 1 x NVMe set as Cache for Windows Virtual Machine (WM) Additional components: 1 x Nvidia Quadro P400 for Plex transcoding 1 x Nvidia GTX 1060 for Windows Virtual Machine (WM) And these HDDs: Parity: WDC WD80EFAX-68KNBN0_VGG2W4GG - 8 TB (sdg) - 25°C WDC WD80EFAX-68KNBN0_VDJTZNYK - 8 TB (sdb) - 24°C WDC WD80EFAX-68KNBN0_VAJ1M4ZL - 8 TB (sdh) - 22°C TOSHIBA HDWG440_X180A07UFZ0G - 4 TB (sdj) - 15°C TOSHIBA HDWG440_X180A07YFZ0G - 4 TB (sdk) - 12°C WDC WD40EFZX-68AWUN0_WD-WX52DB1ASP92 - 4 TB (sdl) - 14°C WDC WD60EFAX-68SHWN0_WD-WX11D39LFHVL - 6 TB (sdc) - 17°C ST4000VN008-2DR166_ZDH5Z3HE - 4 TB (sdi) - 15°C ST4000VN008-2DR166_ZGY401DB - 4 TB (sde) My boot device is: Flash DataTraveler 3.0 - 31 GB (sda) The problem is that it seems to freeze when updating Docker or when the server is performing certain tasks. Do i need OCF cabel insted of OCR?

Unraid Don't show Windows dont show disk i see the card in divise maneger in Windows. Hello Unraid Forum, You are my last hope now. I have been trying to get this to work without any luck. The first thing I did was to boot from a DOS USB and type the following commands: 1. megarec -writesbr 0 sbrempty.bin 2. megarec -cleanflash 0 Everything worked fine, and the clean was successful. However, when I tried to do the next step: 1. Reboot to DOS (yes, you must reboot) and type 2. sas2flsh -o -f 2118it.bin I encountered an error message: "Failed to initialize PAL." After that, I created an EFI bootable drive, found all the necessary files, and proceeded with the following steps in EFI shell: 1. fs0: (may be different on your machine) 2. dir (to verify you are on the correct USB stick!) 3. sas2flash -o -f 2118it.bin -b mptsas2.rom 4. sas2flash -o -sasadd <500605B0xxxxxxxx> In EFI, it seemed to load the necessary files correctly, and when I use sas2flash.efi -list, it even shows 0x2213 (IT), which seems promising. Now to the problem: I can't see the drives that are connected to the card. I have a green blinking light at the back of the card (see picture 2). I am not getting the prompt to press Ctrl+C to enter its BIOS... I am totally lost now. Where should I start? Do I need to enable something in the BIOS to get the card to work? My motherboard is Asus Strix 570x E Gaming. I'm not even sure if the files I used in the EFI folder and DOS folder are correct. I will also attach them. If somebody has a complete set of files, I would love to have them so I can make it work. dos.zip efi.zip

Hello i got this Controller and im relly not sure if it will work with unRaid Its a LSI SAS9220-8i https://www.amazon.com/IBM-46M0861-SAS9220-8i-ServeRAID-Controller/dp/B00X6CQL52 Also got a LENOVO 46M0851 - ServeRAID M5015 SAS/SATA Controller But When i got raid controller in it is it then out of line with UnRaid ?

Found the problem. it did make the network to bridge insted of host. -.-' u always find the solution afther making a forum post :I

im not this mutch into thath stuff. and dont understand it im just trying to get my stuff to work and can see thath it is really slow. like it takes forever to move stuff to my array.. I know the array dosent like alot off small files. and NZBGET do get alot of thoes. but atm with thath speed im scared if i go get a 2 tb SSD drive and put as Cache drive, it will not be abel to move all the stuff over night to the array so i have a clean cache eatch day if it make sense.

Hello Unraid i really have performance issue with Unraid atm 1. My Cache dident work as planned. even on yes it did pick files out of array 2. now i see my array write speed is only like 90-100 mb/s ? is this normal ?`i kinda think its low

im using NZBGET and Qbit to get files Whe way i see it is when i start it all my array is on like 4.01TB Cache start at 25 gb afther 30 min my cache is on like 250 GB used but my array is gone down to like 3.8 TB i if thoes 2oo GB isent grone form array to cache were did they so go :I in the perfeckt world sud my cache start to fill up. the mover kick in and my array will only go up Right? When the cace is put to yes?

It's still a problem did try to remake it all.. i thinck there is a BUG or something with the cahce Atm Cahce is useless i do have 1 TB cache but even if my drive is put to Yes (Mover transfers files from cache to array) it still moves files from arry to cache. parity sync still running Is this a problem for the cache ?
