Hi can someone please do an icon for the the HPE Proliant ML350 Gen10?

My macos VM always crashes in the newest Unraid when my fenvi wifi/Bluetooth Controller is passed through. Any one else with this Problem? this is Not Happening with Unraid 10.3 the version i am downgrading to

i kind of having the same problem. i have the Asus Z10PE-D16 Mobo with an Aspeed Gpu onboard. i was using this for my unraid graphical output. i also have one nvidia gpu for my windows VM and one AMD gpu for my macos VM. both a bond to vfio. Now i added a third gpu a Quadro P600 for my plex trancoding and i had to install the nvidia drivers. i dont have connected any display to the P600. But after rebooting the output of my aspeed gpu was gone and switched to the P600 what i dont like. i am in CSM mode booting so no uefi. but i would like to have my unraid output back on my aspeed gpu.

Hm no I don’t think this makes a difference. With these two settings it works for me. Maybe you have to login again or you have to reinstall the VM because of the failed login attempt.

Dann liegt es an der Seriennummer. Die musst du im opencore configurator ändern und sie muss ganz wichtig, ungültig sein

Nutze das Plugin ja noch nicht, weil ich leider kein Internet zur Zeit habe. Gibt es die Möglichkeit das Plugin quasi offline zu installieren? Kann einen Hotspot auf meinem Laptop machen, aber leider nicht für unraid

welches Gast OS hast du in deiner VM? ich hatte die Probleme meist nur mit macOS. Mit der 5700XT Crasht nichts mehr, es tritt nur der berühmte Fehler auf also diese PCI 127 Fehlermeldung. oder es passiert gar nichts und das Bild bleibt schwarz. Neustart von macOS funktioniert bei mir auch trotzdem noch nicht, aber wie gesagt durch den Umzug habe ich noch kein internet um das plugin zu installieren. aber ich bin schon mal sehr sehr froh, dass die crashes weg sind. und danke für das video, aber das war mir schon bekannt und wird erfolgreich angewendet

Ach krass! bei der Crasht auch das ganze unraid? Hatte ich mit meiner RX560 auch. Hab nun auf eine 5700XT gewechselt. Aber hab das Plugin noch nicht installiert. (Noch kein Internet in der Wohnung nach Umzug). wie genau es funktioniert weiß ich leider nicht, aber ich denke die Karte wird von Hand neu eingebunden. wie äußert sich der Crash und bei welcher vm passiert das?

Nein mehr musst du nicht machen

first I thought you are suffering from the amd reset bug. but since you have a Nvidia gpu....hm could be Nvidia driver related... I didn't know that Nvidia GPUs work on BigSur. I would try it without passing through the gpu. also I would run opencore configurator and edit the config.plist file and put it on my EFI partition and after that you can boot directly from the vdisk.

or maybe it has something to do with your hand made changes !? The script changes it and this results in a black screen for any reason.

have you updated the macinabox container and forgot to delete the script? Does the script say First install yes/no? me too

If you path through a gpu dump the vbios first and and fill the vbios path in

To get screen output now, You have to boot from the iso file again. Just use the new one and redo the config and saving on you efi partition.

1. Download new iso 2. start vm with new iso. So edit iso path (unraid won’t show it. Put it in your iso folder and type the iso name by hand) and run helper script 3. run configurator and make changes 4. save files on efi partition 5. change cores, RAM etc. 6. Remove all isos accept your vdisk 7. run helper script

Have you updated the opencore iso? The maconabox iso is not campatible with the newest configuratior.

Do you still get video output with vnc? the vm doesn’t like switching back to vnc after passing through a gpu

You got a vbios? dump one yourself. Not from techpowerup. spaceinvader1 has a video with a script to dump you vbios or use gpu-z within windows if possible

Cool, danke das hört sich gut an. Dann reicht ja tatsächlich eine 5600 XT oder 5700 XT. Mit der 560er ging es mir genau so, also nur in macOS beim herunterfahren gab es Probleme. Danke dir!

Danke für deine Antwort schon mal, oh nein das ist ja ärgerlich mit der Karte. ich überlege mir eine 6600XT zu holen. Ich finde leider nichts im Netz dazu mit welcher gpu es zuverlässig mit dem Plugin funktioniert
