Solutions

  1. TheDaveAbides's post in Host Name Conflict (avahi) / .local Domain issue was marked as the answer
    Follow up:

I think the issue was avahi also running in a homebridge container. I had the same (though different host name) issue in its' log. It ran in bridge mode, but I couldn't figure out how to connect because IP:Port wouldn't connect. Fixed IP did work, but I also found there's a oznu/homebridge:ubuntu-no-avahi repository and all is working well now.

I'm still not sure what to do about the Local TLD / Certificate. 'Odin.local' is working, but suddenly 'Odin.home' stopped (though router.home works). Fix Common Problems is now telling me "Your Odin_unraid_bundle.pem certificate is for 'Odin.local' but your system's hostname is 'Odin.home'. Either adjust the system name and local TLD to match the certificate, or get a certificate that matches your settings." and "There is no DNS entry for 'Odin.home'". I certainly can change it to local, I might wait a second day to be sure problem #1 is fixed.
