  1. Thanks @Frank1940, appreciate the help.
  2. @Frank1940 Correct, that is also my fear that it isn't recognising the Intel 1Gb NIC. Model number is I912v. Board is ASRock H470M-itx/ax if that helps. Does Unraid have a list of supported NICs? I googled but could only find forum posts rather than definitive list. If I912v isn't recognised, is adding a NIC via PCIE the only solution?
  3. Thanks @Frank1940. I turned off the 2.5Gb NIC in Bios, connected LAN cable to 1GB NIC. Still same Eth0 error when booting. Renamed network.cfg file to network.cfg.BAK and rebooted and same error however took longer to boot and seemed to hang on the Eth0 error for a minute. Was able to login and generate diagnostics file. See Attached. tower-diagnostics-20220309-0800.zip
  4. Hi All, Had a electrical storm on Sunday and a power surge appears to have fried my router and the 2.5Gbe NIC port (Eth0) that was the ethernet connection from router to server. My AsRock board has 2 x NIC's (1 x 2.5Gbe & 1 x 1Gbe) and the 1Gbe might still work as the ethernet LEDs signify traffic being passed when connected etc. When booting the server, I noticed that an error shows Eth0 'cannot find device'. For some reason I cannot get GUI to load, not sure if this is related to Eth0 not working or I have other issues. I have found instructions for changing the network settings within GUI but I am wondering whether able to edit a config file to re-assign Eth0 from the 2.5Gbe to the 1Gbe? Any help is appreciated.
