Weird Boot-Problems
So I now swapped my Mainboard and CPU with a B450 and R5 3600X and now everything works as it did previously plus the GPU is also working now… I still do not know what is wrong with my other Mainboard or CPU but I am now going to upgrade my whole setup to a Epyc 7302p and Supermicro H11SSL-i so that I do not have any PCIe Lane issues going forward and also to use IPMI for remote management and control

Weird Boot-Problems
So I just unseated my CPU and the thermal paste was not in a good condition… I checked the pins of the CPU and the socket but there everything seems fine. As soon as I have new thermal paste I will reseat it and then try again. I do not understand why it suddenly stopped working but maybe this helps…

Weird Boot-Problems
Yes it is the exact same failure behavior. I am not able to boot unraid with this machine at the moment even though it did work a few hours ago no problem before the shutdown to install the GPU again…

Weird Boot-Problems
Hey all, first of all I love unRAID and it is the perfect OS for my use case but I currently have a problem that I do not know how to fix. I recently moved to a new house and brought my server with my (obviously). Arriving there it did no boot correctly. After hooking up a monitor I noticed that it always rebooted at various stages within the "verifying bz..." So I googled it and found out it could be my USB Drive. No Problem I downloaded a Flash-Backup from Unraid Connect and flashed it onto a new Drive but that did not help at all. It kept rebooting at the same or similar stages within the boot cycle. I tried safe mode but that did not work as well. Now I thought maybe there was some component not seated correctly after the move and re-seated everything but that did not help either. I unplugged the GPU first as I saw sometimes a message telling me that the nvidia driver was not found. It then booted again and I could use my server for close to two weeks without an issue (except not being able to use my GPU for transcoding). After about 10 Days I finally had time again to look into the issue and tried to install my GPU again after redownloading the nvidia plugin. It downloaded fine and after a while told me to reboot. So I shut down my server properly, installed the GPU again and tried to boot but it did not work again with the same errors as before. I then thought that this could not be a coincidence and there must be something fundamentally broken. I unplugged every accessory, drive and GPU to only have CPU, RAM and my USB-Drive in the system but it still wont boot. I even did a BIOS Update that did not help. I ran a Memtest and that did pass without a single error. Now if I plug in that same Stick into another Computer it will boot without a Problem (Minus my Array of course). Now my question is how can I find out what Part of my System the culprit is and how to fix it? Could this be a Mainboard/CPU Issue? I want to try and reseat my CPU but I first need to get my hands on new Thermal Paste. TL;DR: Server will not boot properly regardless of what peripherals or drives are connected. If I take USB-Drive to another machine it boots without problem. Server did run fine for the last year and multiple OS Upgrades. Here are the specs of my System: MSI B550 Gaming Plus Ryzen 7 5700G 64GB DDR4 2400MHz MSI GTX 1060 6GB Delock 4-Port Sata PCIe-Card 2 m.2 Drives for cache 8 HDDs ranging vom 2TB to 8TB

Would the Supermicro H11SSL-i be a great Base for a Unraix Box?
I have one SATA-Port left to input a new HDD so I can add one more 4TB as of now and also I can add more RAM if needed. Would you then simply replace the 2TB Drives with larger ones as I need more storage? Would you go for used Drives or new ones? I do not really trust used Drives as I already had a few I had to replace in my System. I thought on changing my Motherboard so I could have more PCIe Slots to install a SATA HBA for more Slots? With my GPU and the two m.2 SSDs I only could install a single 4-Port Sata Card in a PCIe x1 Slot... The one thing I will definitely replace is my Case, I got a old Case I modded to fit all my HDDs but I want to go with something nicer like the FractalDesign Define XL R2. With the Epyc and Supermicro Board I thought on going with a Rack-Case from Inter-Tech (4U-4416) but if this is overkill I will rethink it. Thanks for the input.

Would the Supermicro H11SSL-i be a great Base for a Unraix Box?
Hey all, on eBay there are currently a lot of Supermicro H11SSL-i Boards with different Epyc Chips and RAM Bundles for less than 700€. Is this a good deal if I buy a case like the Inter-Tech 4U-4416 and add a normal beQuiet Pure Power 11 PSU and a SP3 compatible Cooler? Is there a catch that I do not get? Should I not trust those eBay listings from China even though I can pay with Paypal and have a 60 Day return period? Could it be that those boards where used for mining and would there be anything bad about them? I already have a unRAID System but soon my SATA Ports are all full and because I installed a GPU for transcoding in Plex and tdarr I cannot add another Controller. I thought that I could upgrade with that kind of deal and really expand on my Server. Any input would be really appreciated.

[Plugin] CA Fix Common Problems
This one would be great to know. I manage all my docker containers with portainer and watchtower and do not need those notifications and errors popping up all the time. Is there any way for me to disable this on module? All the other checks I still want to be able to monitor and be notified about. On the unraid docker tab it also shows me that there are updates available for my containers even though there are none and it really bugs me out. I don't want unraid to manage those things for that I have portainer with a much better UI...
