[PLUGIN] Intel iGPU SR-IOV - Support Page
Thank you worked perfectly. User error entirely, I was just anticipating it was more going to be more complicated than it was and went down wrong path from there. Great addition to my Unraid set up and can use Photoshop in a VM without limitations and no more lip sync issues when playing video files. Couldn't be happier😀

[PLUGIN] Intel iGPU SR-IOV - Support Page
Hoping someone may be able to point me in right direction. I was an Alderlake early adopter and at the same time I started with Unraid with no knowledge whatsoever. I remember having to blacklist i915 or more correctly followed others instructions just to get the system up. Im still on this 12th gen machine and whilst everything relating to HW acceleration has been working for at least 18 months in Frigate and Plex I cannot now seem to delete the i915 blacklist whch I presume is neccessary to split out the vga in IOMMU and to then show the possible 7 VFs in the plugin? I have sr-iov enabled in BIOS. (do I also need to enable multi monitor in BIOS?) I have latest intel GPU plugin installed There is no other GFX card installed I am on 7.0 rc1 with no other issues Ive tried deleting i915.conf from the modprobe.d directory entirely, I've tried deleting the 'blacklist i915' line from the i915.conf file and keeping an empty i915.conf file but each time I reboot it reappears and is shown as 'blacklist i915' in the system drivers page and the i915 driver is 'disabled'. My go is stock as is my syslinux.cfg. Ive checked user scripts just in case I added something there years ago but nothing. I don't know where else to look to identify from where this is being generated.

[PLUGIN] GPU Statistics
Noticed that my Alderlake igpu is no longer giving any output data on the dashboard. I think the update to the plugin was the one before last one around a week or so ago. I can see igpu is rendering in the console 'intel_gpu_top' just no sign of power draw or rendering in the plugin - has anyone else on Alderlake seen this?

[Support] Tailscale Support Thread
I have tailscale instal;ed and all working on various clients but a side effect my remote Plex users can no longer access my Plex server content. Plex and Tailscale are bothe installed on 'host' network Is there any way to make Plex an exception so Plex would be accessible as before? Willing to dig into this if anyone can give me some basic instructions to get me started

[Support] Josh5 - Unmanic - Library Optimiser
Im on Alderlake and trying Unmanic for first time. Using the H265 Vaapi plugin. I'm not seeing any options to vary the bitrate? The default is visibly lossy compared to source so wondering how I set for less compression either at the expense of encoding time or file size - o'm good with either

Intel 12th generation Alder Lake / Hybrid CPU
i'm on plex official container and updated to 1.28.1.6018. I did have hw encoding (albeit crashing) on an earlier 1.27 version but now on 1.28.1.6018 and encoding is going straight to cpu. Havent changed anything else other than the update on my end. Can still see renderd128 and card0 in the /dev/dri folder. i still have gputop installed and showing 1.1w on idle (which i don't quite get if it isn't doing anything?) Any suggestions?

Intel 12th generation Alder Lake / Hybrid CPU
Well I thought I may just get lucky with my mobo CPU combination but it wasn't to be so I will heed the advice from now on and wait ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. ROG STRIX Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-12600K official Plex app crashes Unraid almost immediately on transcode.

i5 12600k recent build - cheap Quadro now or wait for full stable iGPU support?
Hi all I took the plunge with Unraid last week primarily for Plex and VM have question over the GPU I have the one of the 12600k bundles from Scan.co.uk -Asus Strix and Corsair Hydro for cooling. I havent tried to enable igpu yet as I'm having enough teething problems getting to grips with unraid as it is,. Having said that I havent had any issues with software transcoding so far but its early days and the max I have transcode count I have seen todate is 3 with CPU raiming very reasonable I did think of getting a cheap P200 Quadro of ebay but I think for now rather than drop more money on something which may then become redundant fairly soon Ill just see how it goes. I am actually having more of a CPU bump on VMs - how much of this is due to the lack of IGPU I dont know, as I say I'm still in the early Noob stage presently. If anyone can think of a valid reason why a P200 would be useful after the i915 issue settled I may still get it. I'm not a gamer myself but my lad is hounding me to update his current modest PC so possibly a candidate for a VM and dedicate gaming card if the prices come down, I just don't know at the moment. Do you think full i915 support will make it into Unraid in first half of this year?
