  1. im stuck i rebooted server and disc 4 is still red cant start array
  2. @madburg here is my log, what i tried was to use preclear was working while it did a pre read but once it started to write, disc 4 showed up as red and cache just stopped working in preclear it was writing at 350MB/s these drives might be on hooked up to a Supermicro AOC-SASLP-MVL8 any way to tell if it is? im going to install those packages now syslog.txt
  3. ran another clear got to 100% then the logs started to get big again, web page changed to the drop down list again and in disc 6 i can choose (sdf) 0. The log just keeps repeating until it crashes the server. tail -n 40 -f /var/log/syslog Jul 12 09:56:04 Tower emhttp: WDC_WD20EADS-00R6B0_WD-WCAVY2267178 (hdc) 1953514584 Jul 12 09:56:04 Tower emhttp: 4. trying to clear a drive first time after many hours i came back and the server was unresponsive with both web and ssh, on the second time i last checked it was at 20% and i left it over night when i checked it looks like it stopped because it showed the list of drives and on disc 6 drop down the drive is not there anymore had to reboot. 5. yea its still going seems to be much more responsive then ever.
  6. looks like its fine i tested a few downloads worked without any problems im also using a ssl connection.
  7. ok i got it to work i removed openssl from sabnzbd plugin now will this effect sabnzbd? or will it just use the new version that sf uses?
  8. Do you have a sabnzbd/sickbeard combo running? There seems to be a trend of SF gui issues while running sickbeard/sabnzbd: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=26322.0 yes i do and i notice something puts openssl-0.9.8r-i486-3 and openssl-1.0.1c-i486-3 in the packages folder edit: i looked and found sabnzbd installs openssl-0.9.8r-i486- and sf installs openssl-1.0.1c-i486-3 could this be the problem? can i just edit the sabnzbd plg to use the newer version?
  9. i am on unraid 5rc11 Mem: 1813184k total, 347636k used, 1465548k free, 124k buffers is that to little ram? when i try start ehttp like in the go file it says this error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
  10. i cant access the web interface when i upgraded to 1.0.11 i deleted the old plugins put in the new ones in /boot/plugins i get this in Firefox The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading and in chrome Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): The connection was reset. when i remove these plugins the default web interface is back
  11. so the web interface gets killed if you run out of memory? why doesn't it start back up ? how is it that i can run a lot of plugins without non of them closing but the web interface does even when i removed a bunch of plugins that i don't use like couchpotato?
  12. can unraid interface be fixed? its always to slow to load and most times it doesn't that and it many times just crashes completely until you restart the server. All other programs like sabnzbd, sickbeard and unmenu load instant and never crash for me.
  13. well i re added the files and ran the bat file now its working.
  14. yea it wont boot for me to looks like i will have to open the case to get the usb flash drive.
  15. i think i have the same problem everything works sabnzbd, sickbeard and smb but tower web interface will stop working didn't have this problem before. I get in chrome Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data.
  16. has this happen to anyone else? hope my hardware can use this 3TB drive.
  17. damn my power went out and when i started up my unraid everything is fine but when i started a parity check i see that the speed is below 30MB/s i did a parity check yesterday and it was 80MB/s and higher. any idea what can cause something like this to happen? syslog-2011-10-08.txt
  18. what about that ata error count that keeps going up? its at 193 right now today it was 192

  21. You are not running sickbeard as "nobody", therefore the files it creates are no longer visible to SAMBE which is now running with more correct permissions. The older versions of unRAID had almost NO security for files and permissions. The side effect of fixing that is now you need to run programs with the correct user-id and have the file-creation modes correct when they create files on their own. You are not alone on this, do a bit of searching any you'll find others who are working on/solved this same issue. Joe L. what i did was login with root and started up sickbeard? how do i start it up with nobody?
  22. whats with the new permissions in 5.0? sickbeard made a new tv show folder and i cant access this folder from shares ? before in 4.7 i didn't have any of these problems
  23. to get autoprocesstv scripts to work i just chmod -R 777 the dir
  24. just installed 5.0b6a did a parity check and noticed in mymain that the ata error went back to 100 i was going to record the errors but after i refreshed the ata errors are gone again. Is this something that should be happening? now i was looking at the nice custom gui and i clicked smart log on it and now i see the errors. is there a reason they go away in the my main smart report but stay on this report? my cache drive has had 22 ata errors and they never go away. is this something i can rma the drive for? i don't want them to try the drive and tell me its fine http://pastebin.com/e6ipKtrK
