    I already have a PlexPass and it's already set up. The problem is it's a manual download since it's a beta version. The download is done here https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/230212/

    When you have the install beta file downloaded, put it in the /boot/config/plugins/Plexmediaserver folder.

     

    You will see two files in there similar to:

    Plexmediaserver-PhAzE-1.1.4.2757-24ffd60-x64.txz*

    Plexmediaserver-PhAzE-1.1.4.2757-24ffd60-x64.txz.md5*

     

    You need to delete the .md5 file, and the old .txz file, and rename your new beta one the same as the one you just deleted.  Then force the plugin to install again with:

     

    /etc/rc.d/rc.Plexmediaserver install

     

    Just note that in the settings page GUI it will show an update is available (to the latest stable plex pass version) which you can safely ignore.

    noob question... I use Phaze plugin and want to update to the latest Plex Beta to use the DVR function. I downloaded the thx file from Plex website but have no idea where to put it to be install it. The way I installed it, I ended with 2 Plex, which is obviously not what I wanted. I removed the thx file from the boot key, rebooted and the 2nd version is gone. Now how to I simply upgrade my Phaze Plex version to the Plex beta?

     

    Any help would be appreciated.

    thanks for the quick response. I've changed the permissions to be the same as the other bundle folders but no joy. I'm pretty sure it's copied the proper folder as well since I can see all the other bundles in that directory. I'll give it a try later. Maybe I need to run some command to initiate the install, some Python file.py command. Glad to know that's no different than using the docker. In fact, I didn't try with the docker.

     

    Another question: I have PlexPass lifetime and wonder how I can update it. When I installed the plexpass version I ended up with 2 Plex (Docker and under Phaze plugins). Any lines that I should modify in your package? Thanks again

    Anyone here able to install Trak.tv channel in Plex using PhAze's plugin? I can't see the channel in my channels in Plex even though I've copied the Trakttv.bundle folder under ../Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins/. I wonder if it's related to Python. PhAze, is there some plugins available for it? Thanks a lot for your hard work btw, it's much appreciated

    Since a few weeks, it seems I don't have ffmpeg installed. At least I can't find it. I wanted to run it manually from /boot/config/plugins/serviio/ffmpeg/ffsetup.sh but couldn't find. Not sure if it's because of my Subsonic installed. I used to be able to have them both installed. Maybe it's somewhere else and it's just my upgrade from Unraid RC 11 to 12a that broke it. From what I read setting permissions wasn't necessary when upgrading from 11 to 12a. Maybe, I'll try to reinstall Serviio from scratch :S

     

    edit: I'm also using Plex. Maybe there's a conflict between Plex and Subsonic?

     

    edit2: I removed old plg and serviio folder, rebooted, put the new plg in the plugin folder but install didn't complete. In fact I have the serviio entry in settings, but from there, I get Serviio is not installed. Running it the install manually didn't work as well :(

     

    edit 3: Deleting all associated packages seems to have worked for the install to work. Thanks a lot for this plugin :)

    Just installed Unraid RC12a and deleted all my SimpleFeatures*.plg from my flash drive but I guess I shouldn't have done that but at reboot the console gui was all messed up. I finally ended up putting them back in /boot/config/plugins and everything is back to normal (except with rc12a) so I guess I'm still using the old SF. My temperature still isn't showing up correctly, or maybe it wasn't meant to be fixed in this rc.

    Edit: Installed it. Plugin seems to work great. Serviio versions in settings says version 1.2 but the Serviio console/about says version 1.1 and saying an update is available. Maybe I had to delete some folders\packages first?

     

    Edit 2: nevermind I had to reboot the server. It's now showing 1.2. I guess only running the command wasn't installing 1.2 completely. Probably services still running.

    Displaying the temperature works only in Fahremheit, not in Celcius, not a big deal for me. Really like the new GUI. Thanks a lot!

     

    The display of the temperature unit depends on your display settings.

     

    nope. I think you didn't understand what I said. I went to display settings to change it to F because C doesn't work

    That is strange because the fahrenheit value is calculated from the celcius value.. It is either both or none...

     

    Well it seems to always be 32F for both cpu and motherboard so I guess it's not working

    Thanks Mayhem for this new version. Will try it out when I get back from work.

    I'm wondering if that will fix some issues when having with some files, I'm not sure if I previously had this problem or not because some mkv files with H264 won't play on my PS3 even though I set the profile to Playstation 3. They play just fine using Serviigo on Android devices because MX Player is transcoding it but don't work on the PS3. I have seen on the Serviio forum that adding a PS3 custom profile it could fix that issue. I added the profile but didn't have a chance to either restart my Unraid server or the Serviio service. I'm wondering if adding a button to stop or start the Serviio service near the done button you added would be a good idea.

    Since the latest package version (January 29) transcoding doesn't work and new videos are not showing up. Not sure if it has something to do with the update of unraid or this package. Any ideas how can I fix that?

     

    I previously had package version January 15 and it was working well

    Yes I am. I installed over your first 1.1 plugin. After that I installed the modified package of subsonic you did. To have subsonic working fine, I had to change the permissions of some files has suggested here:  http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=21356.msg219768#msg219768

    Thanks MyKroft. What's the best way to uninstall it properly?

     

    edit: I ended up deleting the subsonic folder manually, deleting the downloaded packages and then running the commands

    rm -f -R /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/subsonic

    rm -f /etc/rc.d/rc.subsonic

     

    Not sure if I'm missing something but at least the Subsonic unraid setting is gone :)

     

    I'm supposed to buy a few other hard drives soon to have a cache drive. I only have 3 x 2TB at the moment

    when trying to access the subsonic interface.

     

    I've seen some other people having the same issue and the suggestion to delete the /var/subsonic/db folder but can't find the subsonic folder inside the /var directory. I have a pid under /var/run.

    You also suggested to change the default. Mine is set to  /boot/config/plugins/subsonic. I tried to change it for /boot/config/plugins/subsonic1 but it didn't work. I don't have a cache drive, I'm using a flash drive. Any other suggestion?

     

    P:S I opened port 4040 on my router's firewall if that makes any difference

    Thanks a lot Mayhem. Can't wait to try the new version you just posted.

     

    Installation worked great. The only thing is the console doesn't seem different than the one I had previously and some tabs aren't accessible like the Tanscoding tab. I'll try the Windows console.

    edit: nevermind the console part, I guess it's only Chrome cache. The console looks different and IE and looks better. I also like the Windows console

    edit2: Did a F12, right click on the refresh and did a Empty cache and hard reload
