  1. Hope I'm in the right place. I have the INTEL-GPU-TOP plugin installed,, as well as the GPU-Statistics plugin installed,, and neither appear to be able to see my intel internal GPU. Running newest stable version of unraid, Intel i5-12400. Tdarr // Plex can see and use my GPU, not sure why neither of these can. For the message" no GPU's selected", there is no place to select my GPU in that settings page. Thanks
  2. Hi All, I recently upgraded Unraid to the newest stable (non-beta) version. I have noticed since then, accessing my files is extremely slow. I don't know if this update was the cause of the problems, or it was just a coincidence and it is something else. I am a photographer / videographer, and obviously I edit my files on my main PC while they are stored on a SSD, but once I am done they go into storage on my NAS. I often times look through old videos / files if I want to re-edit them or look for files to print. Since updating, accessing the files on my NAS through windows is extremely slow. For example, when opening a file in the standard windows preview photo viewer, it takes about 30 seconds to open the photo, and then another 3-5 seconds for it to "fully load" in HD. If I click to another photo instead of loading instantly with the program open, there is a lag time of about 3 - 5 seconds in going to the next photo, and again, it loads slowly. Opening files with photoshop takes about a minute. Viewing a video takes about 2-3 minutes to load, and the files don't play smoothly. If I try to skip around the video, there is a huge lag time. MY internet is very fast (700MBPS DL 300 UL) and is hard-wired via ethernet to my router / main PC, my NAS only 1.5 year old with newer stuff still (Intel 12700K, 32GB ram), and I make sure all other processes/dockers/background tasks are shut down on my NAS and nobody is accessing my Plex -- still very slow behavior. My Main PC is also more than fast enough to handle all this (32GB ram, 5950x w/OC, Nvidia 4070 TI super). Recently tested all my disks through the disk speed app and they are all healthy. I don't even know where to start to fix this or what could be the problem. This hasn't happened to me yet. I'd really appreciate any help with this.
  3. WELP, did the chkdsk (also deleted nderdpack) and now it looks like this (attachment). All my dockers / apps are messed up now. See new diagnoistics as well. Time to remake the usb from a backup? No idea whats going on now. Seems like that made things worse. coppanas-diagnostics-20221027-1539.zip
  4. I get this weird error message when I try to update any apps, "Configuration not found. Was this container created using this plugin?" I'm not even sure what that means or how to fix it. My array / OS is running fine, but I can't update any apps. Any thoughts?
  5. Uhh, did the new update just break anyone's array? When I tried to update the OS today, I had a few things happen. First of all, after trying to reboot the array (after the update), it just hung-up and timed out. I hard-shut down and tried that way, but now I can't log in. When I try to log in with my credentials on the NAS array (not through the web gui), I get the following error message: IPv4 Address: xxx.xxx.xxx.xx – static address I set IPv6 address: not set So now it won't let me log in on the machine, and I can't access the web GUI until I fix that. What should I do? How do I fix this? Thanks.
  6. Just bumping this -- can I really not use "root" as my user? Others told me I could, and it had been letting me, then seemingly out of the blue denied me access.
  7. I do have parity and cache setup. The cache is setup ONLY for downloaded content (PLEX). I probably should have started with my current data backup first.
  8. Title says it all, but I will expand a bit -- I JUST finished building my NAS a few days ago. Been playing with it and slowly transferring 15++ years of HD photos and videos (I am a photographer) over. It is slower than I would like, getting about 30mb/s. I have a few external drives, is there a way to plug them directly into my NAS USB ports for faster transfer, rather than moving it over my network through windows? If so, what's the best way to do that? Do I need to mount the drive in Unraid first? Thanks!
  9. It had been workling fine until I lost power.... weird.
  10. update: I made a new user in the web GUI, and could access the shares through that new user, but I cannot get in through the root user.
  11. Hello, I lost power briefly and it restarted my NAS. Now when I try to access my shares through my network drives, I am being denied access. I am using the correct password. So far I have tried to default password (blank), deleting the windows credential, Deleting the share and trying to re add it, and rebooting. Any idea what is going on or how to fix? This is the error I get -- the password is correct, I've triple checked.

  13. Hi Everyone, I just built my first NAS box, and to my surprise, it posted on the very first try. Unfortunately, Unraid will not load/boot from the USB. I downloaded the flash creator from the website, ran it on the USB stick, which is one that was recommended to me by a couple of people (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003YCOMG4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) so that it is compatible with Unraid. the stick registers in the Bios as the only bootable drive, but when I go to boot from it, I just restarts, then sends me back to the bios. Here's my system specs: Node 804 case ASUS Prime h610ED4: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards-Components/Motherboards/PRIME/PRIME-H610M-E-D4/ on-board wifi Intel core i5-12400 LGA 1700 with integrated graphics Corsair 2x16 GB sticks Samsung 980 plus 500GB for cache 5x WD RED plus 14TB drives LSI HBA SATA card Would love some insights, this is my first time using Unraid. Let me know if you need any other info.
