  1. Hello, I am converting my drives (rfx -> xfs) as described in several threads around here. I am having some issues with user shares - Hope someone can help me with those. Here we go: 1. Whenever I format a drive, my shares (some, not all) seem to be disappearing. The data remains (browsing the disk to make sure), but I am loosing the shares to it. How do I restore those? 2. Every disk I format with xfs appars to be shared as well - How do I prevent that? 3. After the last disk convert, the docker share got lost. What do I need to mount to get it back up (default settings)? Best Regards
  2. formating did go well, but i think i startet the array once without the disk. so now it wants to rebuild the array. current status for the disk is emulated data.
  3. did so, but the array wants to rebuild the data. how do I prevent this, or the the array something like 'leave it like that'. Just run a parity check?
  4. I moved one disk to another using an rsync command. Now I want to change the FS for the first disk. What are the steps for that? How do I avoid a rebuild?
  5. Hey there, as many others I just moved to version 6 and would like to convert the RFS drives to XFS. I installed an clean disk (disk8 for the scripts) with sufficient space. I would like to write a script and run in at the server which will convert all the drives. I was thinking of something like that: rsync --progress -avh /mnt/disk1/ /mnt/disk8 FORMAT DISK1 to XFS (command?...) rsync --progress -avh /mnt/disk8/ /mnt/disk1 [REPEAT FOR OTHER RFS DISKS] [MAKE DISK8 THE PARITY DISK] [FORMAT PREVIOUS PARITY DISK TO XFS] Could someone help me with the commands? And how do I tun those batch-like? Best regards!
  6. Hi there, I am trying to add a new harddrive. The Array just won't start when then new drive is added. Here is a syslog: http://pastebin.com/tzLYsFuT Using Version 5.0 RTM. What do I Need to add, to get some Support?
  7. Thanks for this awesome PlugIn. Could you add something to replace SNAP - just a simple way of mounting external drives via WebUI (instead of telnet).
  8. Hello unRAID Team (aka Tom?), with USB 3.0 flash drives are capable of providing write speeds above 200mb/sec at very moderate prices. A cache drive is intended to be used as a temporary storage for a day or less, so the required space on the cache partition can be pretty low (less than 64GB provided by an average memory stick today). Why wasting a SATA/SAS slot, space and energy when we could use such a flash drive for that purpose? Unfortunately unRAID does not support this feature, so I am wondering if you could add it.
  9. Thanks for the fix, but it seems the SNAP UI is not working when using SimpleFeatures Is SNAP dead or is there someone still maintaining it in any way?
  10. Hello, I would like to use an internaly mounted USB 3.0 memory stick as the cache drive for unRaid. When I start unRaid the flash drive does not appear as a possible option for a drive. Is there a way to achive this?
  11. Hello, what happened to /proc/acpi/sleep in rc8a? I was following this howto, but it seems that sleep is not there anymore. Also /sys/power/state can not be used to suspend (-> 'mem not found') the machine. Neither I could find anything regarding sleep in the UnMenu packet manager. I am pretty unexperienced with linux based systems, maybe somebody could give me a hint. Thanks!
