    Thank you for your answers, i had hoped i could use the a ssd cache drive to avoid the drawbacks of SRM Drives simply by having it do all writing to the drives when no one is trying to access stuff

    hi, I am thinking of building an unRaid box and have a question I can’t really find an answer to, maybe its too obvious… If I overwrite/change a file will the original still be on the array until the mover moves it of the cache drive? Same question if I delete a file, will it delete the file immediately or just make a note to delete the file the next time the mover is running? Tisamon
