Solutions

  1. ArxKnight's post in Unraid server not getting a DHCP IP address was marked as the answer   
    It looks like the whole reason I couldn't get an IP is because there is a setting in the Dell iDRAC settings called "OS TO iDRAC PASS THROUGH", this has to be set to "Disabled" rather than "USB NIC" as it will prevent the OS from being able to get a DHCP address. I hope this help anyone in the future when installing unraid on a Dell Server.
