H3is3nb3rg started following Unraid NFS Share not seeing Synology NAS files
-
Hello all, Having an issue, I'm trying to re-set up a NFS share to my Synology NAS but for some reason it is not detecting the files on the NAS when I click the "load shares". It can see the NAS but that is all. I'm not sure where I went wrong. I can set up a SMB share with no issues. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hey, I figured it out and thought I closed this. Not sure what the heck happened but I had to re-add my USB device in ESXI and all is reading again. It was strange. I will try and close this. Thank you Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Tapatalk

Hello all, I was using Unraid today and later in the day when I came back It no longer loads. I checked the flash drive and it seemed to not read in my PC, so I got a new 2.0 Flash Drive and loaded it with Unraid, copied over my backup config folder. Well, it's still not loading and this is the screen I get when it's trying to load in ESXI. It appears it cannot load the drive. Any ideas? Thank you

Hello all, Need some guidance. I have Unraid on a VM and it has been working great until a few days ago. Not sure how I managed to get my NVMe disk onto disk2 but now disk 1 is showing the error I posted in the title. It does not appear the drive is bad as it's still registering on Disk2? If I hover over disk 1 it states "device is missing (Disabled) contents emulated" Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

I too have a unifi controller. I have tried a fresh install of Pihole2 and still not able to resolve. So are you saying I should change to bridge and use the unraid IP address. Would I then point my DNS to the first pihole? Changing to bridge and keeping it on port 80 fails on the pihole install. If i change to port 8080 then it works. I assume this is because unifi uses port 80. Thanks for the help!

The pihole DNS on the second one is pointing to the first Pihole. -

Thank you for this but unfortunately, it's still a no go. It states it took too long to reach and cannot reach this page. -

With these settings, it states the 2nd pihole is unreachable. I must be doing something wrong? Is it because of port 80? Do I need to change it to port 8080? -
Hello all, I'm trying to get a second pihole setup to have a failover incase the first one on my Synology NAS goes out. But when I try and setup using custom network, I cannot access the pihole with the 192.16899.203 IP. If I set it up under bridge it then works but only as the same IP as my Unraid server, it will not come up under the specified IP address I gave it (192.16899.203). I did point the IP address on the second image to the first pihole IP address. The last image shows to use Bridge mode instaead of br0 and that worked but its using the Unraid Ip address instead of the IP address I specified. I know I'm kind of rambling on here but hope it makes sense! I should also note, I have Unbound setup as well Any help would be appreciated!

Resolved - Sorry for such a stupid post, I thought it was a goner, wanted to ask before I pulled the trigger on something that could have ruined the system. Thank you for listening and guidance! -

I think I fixed it with the -L No longer have the mounting error and now restarted the Parity. Once it's done I will see if it worked.
