Can't boot up after update to 6.12.10
Thanks Jorge, the USB is no longer in the boot list so I suppose it is deadðŸ˜. I also checked the manual to see how to replace the USB, it says I can use the "USB Creator" to write a new one. I have the most recent flash backup on my Synology NAS, but it is more likely to be a direct copy of flash file on my UNRAID rather than the regular "main > flash device settings > flash backup". Do you think I can still use "USB Creator > Local Zip" to rebuild my USB?

Can't boot up after update to 6.12.10
Hello commnity, here I got a problem. My unraid server were running perfectly fine (reboot was of course smooth). Today, when I updated my server from 6.12.8 to 6.12.10, during the required rebooting process, it didn't wake up and the screen says this: I currently live aboard and controlling my unraid via the KVM on my motherboard, do I still have any way to fix this issue? Thanks so much.

[SOLVED]cannot download from CA
Hi all! Today I reset my router so some of my internet config has changed. I believe my internet is accessible ( I can visit CA and check docker discription, icons, authors etc.) but once I download plugin "IPMI Tool" it says Is this a DNS config error? I tried "8.8.8.8" and "114.114.114.114" (this is the free DNS server in my country) but both failed. Happy Dragon Boat Festival! northernlight3s-diagnostics-20230621-2054.zip

UNRAID can't save files anymore (shfs command failed)
I also want to mention that this problem seems only occur when UNRAID server already runs for a period of time. When I just reboot, it seems I can upload and download as normal. But some time (last time it was a few hours after reboot, but this time it was almost 5 days) later this problem will happen and I will not be able to manage my files.

Unassigned Devices - Managing Disk Drives and Remote Shares Outside of The Unraid Array
I was trying to have a 10min delay on auto mount remote drive to my unraid everytime the array start. The drive I intended to mount is actually a share from my VM. I need a few minutes after the boot to let the VM start. I had the following script but didn't work. Do you find any problem on my script? It didn't work. #!/bin/bash # Wait for 10 minutes before attempting to mount the shared drives sleep 600 # Define the shared drive information nl3s-vm-dsm="//192.168.4.172/nl3s_appdata backup" nl3b="//192.168.4.216/nl3s_appdata backup" # Mount the shared drives mount -t cifs -o username=marco,password=19980928MMCmmc "$nl3s-vm-dsm" /mnt/remotes mount -t cifs -o username=marco,password=19980928MMCmmc "$nl3b" /mnt/remotes # Verify if the drives are mounted successfully if mountpoint -q /mnt/remotes; then echo "Shared drives mounted successfully." else echo "Failed to mount one or more shared drives." fi northernlight3s-diagnostics-20230524-2340.zip

My First Unraid Server Build
I'd say 16gb is definitely not enough if you plan to run VMs. Start with at least 32gb.

My First Unraid Server Build
These are very powerful hardware. The only problem I can think about is expandability. Your Z790 mobo comes with one PCIE_X16 slot and dual PCIE_X4 slots. You said you want to run 1-2 VMs on this machine, assuming you plan to add a graphic card on PCIE_X16, then you only left two PCIE_X4 slots for your future 10Gig card and SAS controller cards for sata expansion(you already used all 6 SATA ports on mobo). 10Gig cards on x4 is more expensive and most SAS controller cards are running on x8. An alternative would be mobo with on-board 10Gig ethernet ports, which will save you a pcie slot. Then use sata expansion card if you want to add HDDs in the future.

(Hacked?): avahi-daemon logs, nginx socket open and high array I/O: 'top' reports 'gzip' and 'tar'
There's a plug-in called file activity which monitors the file moving. I am not sure if it can help but worth a try.
