  1. HBA is recognized by BIOS but isn't showing drives attached

    I think you need reverse sata cables, from hba to reverse sata cables from sff8087 ( sff8087-4XSATA cables reverse)) to detect the hdds, had the same issue . You can ask with these guys on alibaba to ship it to you ( Shenzhen Shangzhixinke Technology Co., Ltd.)
