EdgarWallace's post in EdgarWallace : 7.3.0 Cache Degraded was marked as the answerThank you very much for your help @JorgeB
Until now, after a reboot, the server would display numerous error messages on the degraded device. However, there was no data loss or issues with my Docker files.
I've now adjusted the default boot options according to your advise and will see if it solves my issues.

EdgarWallace's post in Not able to assign pool devices was marked as the answerThe problem was that there was a file named “pools” under /config but a directory named “pools” is expected.
I have now restored it from a flash backup, and VMs, etc. are working again.
There are two issues remaining:
All dockers are away
I still can't modify settings (e.g. display setting from "boxed" --> "unlimited"
There were two more issues similar to the issue I described above. Two more files with file size 0 were under /boot/config/plugins but directories were expected: dockerMan and dynamic.

Recently I discovered that a fair amount of TV shows were missing and I thought that EMBY was the culprit. Today I saw that music files have also been deleted. I am really don't trust my server anymore after running unRAID since more than 10 years.
Diagnostics attached, thanks for any help or hint.
