    Inadvertently, I think i may have found a container that caused this as it was spamming the log every 1s.  Looks like it may have been a bad update.  Ill monitor and bump the thread if the issue resurfaces.  
  2. derek_zoolander's post in Windows 7 VM freezes almost immediately after startup was marked as the answer   
    For anyone having a similar issue.  I am on Alderlake - I was passing hyperthreaded cores to the VM.  It appears that only passing main cores has resolved this issue.  
     
    Posting in case anyone else searching for a solution stumbles here
