  1. Thanks for the reply. What do you mean by “new config”? Would like to understand that a bit more. Right now I have one parity, one working data drive, and an SSD cache. I can add one or two new drives if rebuilding the array is an option, but I’m guessing that would wipe everything? I was actually thinking of trying to pull whatever I can from the individual drives first, but if there’s a better way to approach this, I’m open to it. At this point I’ve got nothing to lose, so I’m willing to try anything that might help recover some data.
  2. Hi all, long story short, I think I’ve completely screwed things up. I had 4 drives in my Unraid box, and one of them had been disabled for a while with everything being emulated. I always meant to fix it, but since I mostly use this box for media, I just kept putting it off. I guess I waited too long. Now another drive isn’t being detected at all, and the array won’t start. So I’m guessing at this point things are beyond getting the array back up normally. My question is – is there any way to recover whatever data is still on the drives? Any help or pointers would be really appreciated.
  3. I am running vault as a docker container in my unraid server and just wondering whether I can use it to manager secrets for docker containers. For ex if you want to pass DB password to a container I would rather like to keep it in vault than in the template. Is this possible to achieve ? (PS: I am not sure what I am doing or whether it make sense. ) Thank you for your time and support.
