nvme dropping offline constantly
I don't know enough to give much detail besides the nvme is dropping out constantly now. Immediately after a reboot even now. I had 3.5 months of uptime and I think I updated to one of the recent updates. Out of nowhere Plex docker started crashing. I will list the troubleshooting I have now done. Originally started with a single 4TB acer predator gm7000 nvme for cache drive/pool, due to it sitting directly underneath the a2000 GPU on the motherboard I originally assumed it was overheating and maybe even failing at this point, it would crash once in a while, then every other day. So I replaced the nvme with a 4TB sabrent rocket4plus I had lying around, known working well I had just used it as a boot drive on a windows pc days before. Exactly the same dropouts and crashing, we're now at the point where I will reboot and it immediately crashes before I can even open the webgui for plex. I took to unraid forums and was suggested to paste nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=0 pcie_aspm=off pcie_port_pm=off in boot options and if anything this had made it worse. I went into bios, updated it to the newest version, disabled ASPM globally and entirely. No help. I have unplugged my UPS from the USB port as one user with similar issue reported this helped them, no change for me. Decided perhaps the m.2 slot on my motherboard is actually failing, so I ordered a pcie to m.2 adapter and placed the m.2 in it as my motherboard only has a single m.2 slot. This changed nothing as you can see below syslog2 just happened 10 minutes ago to reboot to get plex to work again, which it is not. So I'm not sure, I suppose I am going to try to revert back to 6.12.something if that's even possible at this point to get back to stable. Maybe unraid isn't even the problem but it doesn't appear to be hardware with it happening identically to different drives that are different brands even, in different slots. On the hardware side the final thing it could be in my opinion is the CPU (12700k) but I am highly dubious of this at this point as everything else seems to work fine. Any input or help would be greatly appreciated I just hope I can get back to working stable because this is extremely frustrating. My exact hardware: ASRock Rack W680D4U-2L2T/G5 Motherboard W680 chipset Intel i7 12700k CPU stock clocks 2x16GB DDR5 Gskill Trident Z5 6400cl32 with XMP on 5x 16TB Seagate Exos x16 HDDs in regular array (no zfs) one parity 4TB nvme cache SSD, predator GM7000 or Rocket4Plus 4TB Nvidia RTX A2000 (ampere) GPU for transcodes Seasonic 1000w Prime Platinum PSU 64GB USB 3.0 Flash drive for unraid You can ask for more information I will try and check back but I've about lost any hope of help from here. I find loads of threads on the internet for multiple different linux based OSes (proxmox, unraid, truenas) with the same syslog errors and I swear each one is solved in a different way. syslog.txt syslog2.txt

Cache NVME failing, reboot fixes temporarily
Sorry to revive this hopefully thats ok but I'm having very similar issue to this out of nowhere so for you it ended up being some issue with USB ports and what was plugged into it causing nvme controller to crash? I switched nvmes even and the problem persists. Thanks

Unraid server crashing every other day now unsure what is causing...
I am still getting some weird stuff with the nvme any ideas anybody? This is a known good drive I replaced the previous nvme with which was also 'known good' before I started getting these weird issues. I suppose I will try and remove the data on it again and reformat it again see if that helps. Thanks! syslog.txt

Thank you for the suggestion I just tried it and rebooted I will report back if I see issues again, I really appreciate it!

Unraid server crashing every other day now unsure what is causing...
I am unsure about safe mode. Here is an updated syslog from last night after it started acting up again. It appears like something with the nvme is acting up to me but two separate drives I feel like its more likely an issue with the CPU or motherboard/slot at that point. I only have the one slot unfortunately for m.2 tho I could aquire an oculink to m.2 adapter to test at least. Thanks for any help syslog.txt

Unraid server crashing every other day now unsure what is causing...
Hello, I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer. I'm not super familiar with linux stuff so I unfortunately don't really know how to troubleshoot this, I tried some preliminary googling and haven't gotten far so I figured I'd try here. So recently my unraid server started acting odd, plex docker would crash and when I would go to try to restart it docker service was down. I would restart the array and the nvme cache drive will have disappeared. A simple reboot would not fix the issue I would have to shutdown and reseat the drive then it shows back up no problem and everything works for about a day. After this happened a few times I swapped the nvme cache drive with another one and it's seemingly doing similar things though not exactly. Also after one of these times ALL of my dockers were gone, I had to reinstall plex from the recently installed apps section and luckily none of it's data was missing it worked perfectly but the other dockers are still all gone, I didn't use any of them very much however so its not a big problem but still odd. A few moments ago I was sort of trying to look around to see what I can see and this in syslog certainly does not look normal. I will provide anything anybody wants but you'll have to please bear with me as there's a good chance I have no idea where it is or what it is you need. Please help, thanks! if its doing this nonstop could this be some sort of memory leak causing crashes? Anyone know what I need to do to fix this? No recent hardware changes besides the cache drive after things started acting up. 12700k w680 asrock rack board a2000 ampere gpu for transcode 32GB DDR5 6400ish? 5x16TB exos drives & 4TB gen4 nvme cache drive all btrfs regular unraid array currently on 7.1.2 syslog.txt

Move Dashboard modules between columns
+1 just figured out that I can move the things within their columns freely but not between columns. Like others stated my column on the left has the bulk and the center and right columns have just a couple things. Blew my mind I couldn't drag stuff over to organize them and make them equal lengths. At the very least make it split them equally between the columns and then we can organize better that way! Thanks.

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
I finally got it to work, and as the dev I thought you should know in case you run across someone else asking at least with my motherboard (asrock rack x570d4u). No matter what pcie gen 4 card I put it it would do the same thing, no video out and unraid would see it but the nvidia app wouldn’t. With a pcie gen 3 card it worked fine. I had to completely disable CSM and at least on my board I specifically set the slot the GPU is in to UEFI. I was able to get video out and the driver saw it no problem. I knew it was something simple. Thank you for your time! And sorry about the thing which shall not be named, part of the reason I went with a Quadro card anyway (a2000) especially now that they’re around $300 on eBay they are the perfect plex card. Thanks!

Intel Arc support
Hello, I'm cdurkinz from the reddit post. You asked me to contact you here. I have an Arc A380 in hand and tried it on my unraid server without much luck. My main goal was trying to get it to work with Plex to see how it does at transcoding. The only way I know how to do that is with Nvidia GPUs so far is using these steps, which there doesn't seem to be a way to do for Arc as of yet. Any help I'd appreciate it, thanks!

Asrock Rack X570D4U shows post debug code "FF" on boot. Windows/Ubuntu on same system shows AA.
I am having the identical thing happen on the same board. Everything runs perfectly so I lean towards "Fully Functional" I suppose. It is weird though as it should be AA.
